Description
More Power. Now you can add even more mid-range and top-end horsepower to your 5.0L Foxbody Mustang without sacrificing the bottom-end torque that you love with a set of Trick Flow Twisted Wedge 170 Cylinder Heads.

Twisted Wedge. The increase in power comes from Trick Flows unique "Twisted Wedge" combustion chamber design. Trick Flow engineers rotated the valves and moved them over the center of the cylinder bore. This optimizes the valve angles and the combustion chamber shape to drastically boost airflow to allow for more complete combustion of the air/fuel charge.

Fully Assembled. Trick Flow cylinder heads are ready to be installed right out of the box. They come assembled with stainless steel valves (intakes are back-cut for improved flow), 1.460" dual valve springs, locks, retainers, ARP rocker studs, and guide plates. These Twisted Wedge series heads work with almost all OEM and aftermarket intake manifolds and exhaust headers.

CARB Certified. Best of all these Trick Flow Twisted Wedge 170 heads are 50-state emission legal under CARB E.O. number D-369-12.

Application. These 61cc Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Cylinder Heads are designed to be a direct bolt-on performance upgrade for the 1979 to 1995 5.0L Windsor-style V8 engines with hydraulic roller camshafts.

    Awesome Heads

    Installed these heads with matching trick flow intake and comp 270 cams. With that cam .512 lift and 1.6 roller rockers i had no PTV clearance. Car runs great! Pulls hard all the way to red line. Huge difference over stock heads, would recommend to anyone! As always American Muscle service was great.
