Power? Yes! Time and Money? Ehh...

I bought this to replace my broken, stock, plastic intake manifold. I figured i would be adventurous and buy this bad boy. Performance gains are obvious in the high rpms and with the 75mm throttle body, quicker response. The installation was interesting to say the least. Many things needed to be changed and re-routed. For example the alternator had to be rotated 180 deg, upper coolant tube had to be extended and the egr had to be extended as well. Bang for the buck? not if you are on a budget. If you are turboed im sure this would kick some tail. if the price dropped a few hundred i would totally buy it again but so far... id say hold onto the cash!

previous review said you need an alternator relocation bracket kit. so i bought one. when the kit showed up guess what it comes with it so now i have spare parts but its okay. kit comes with everything but a throttle body. ooops one last thing they say in the instructions to lengthen the air bypass valve wires yes you do but i had to extend the tps sensor wires and the egr wires as well. great piece though.

    Great power improvement

Yes, it takes a lot of modifying to make this fit, but it is definitely worth it.For me, it was even more modifying because I went with the accufab oval throttle body, bullitt jlt CAI, bullitt cruise control and throttle cable. After everything was done, I noticed a big improvement in hp. I did lose a little torque in the low end but gained alot hp across the rpm range. And it's not like my car was stock. It had a c&l plenum, 75mm throttle and c&l plenum. So I made power on top of my previous aftermarket parts. I'm going to get it dyno tuned in a week so I'll write an update on a real tested dyno tune.

    Track Heat IM

Install was a more time consuming than what I had initially anticipated. Also, for the price I would have expected the intake manifold to be more plug and play without alterations (even though mild to moderate depending on tools and skills). Performance wise, there was loss of some low end torque for some gain at the mid to higher RPMs. Overall, the product was what I was expecting minus the additional time. If I were to get an intake manifold again it would be this one (Given my application and future goals).
