Description
Allows for Higher Boost. The stock blow-off valve (BOV) is fine for the daily commuter truck, but if you are planning on increasing the boost and performance of your EcoBoost F-150, you are going to need a Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Dual Port Blow Off Valve that is able to handle the extra boost pressure - up to 30psi.
Vacuum Activated. Unlike the factory Ford blow-off valve that is electronically controlled by the ECU, the turbo-mounted Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Dual Port Blow Off Valve is mechanically operated by vacuum for consistent manifold pressure that helps keep your turbo spooled for better throttle response.
Quality Construction. Constructed from aircraft grade aluminum alloy for durability and strength, this Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Dual Port Blow Off Valve features a light-weight brass/aluminum, two-piece, O-ring sealed piston, which is then perfectly matched with precision engineered springs allowing for razor sharp valve response.
