      Description

      Hit Top Speeds. Your GT is a sleek racing machine, and you can achieve top speeds in it without batting an eye when you install this USA Standard ring gear and pinion kit. Set the pace and let everyone else eat your dust.

      3.08 Gear Ratio. You'll be able to go incredibly fast when you install a gear and pinion kit with a 3.08 gear ratio. This gear ratio is also extremely friendly at the pumps, allowing you to spend more time racing and less time fueling up.

      Precision Construction. USA Standard knows steel and only uses the best in their ring gears and pinion kits. Made with triple alloy steel, it's heat treated to guarantee its impact resistance and quality.

      Recommended Upgrade. Changing your gear ratio can make your speedometer less accurate, but you can fix this with a Speedometer Gear (sold separately).

      Installation. Changing your gears is a very complicated process and professional installation or advanced mechanical expertise is advised.

      Warranty. USA Standard offers a 1-year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. Some limitations and exclusions may apply. Please see manufacturer's warranty for complete details.

      Application. This USA Standard ring gear and pinion kit is designed to fit all 1994-1998 Mustang GTs with an 8.8" axle.

      Technical Note. A master bearing kit is advised by most installers. To save money on installation, you may decide to rebuild your Trac-Lok while your gears are being installed. Plan on spending around $250-$300 at a reputable shop for installation, but prices may vary.
