Hey everyone, I'm Justin with AmericanMuscle.com here with a new and exciting product that gives you the ability to change your exhaust tone on the fly. That's right. I'm taking a closer look at the Varex Axleback Exhaust system from X-Force fitting your 11 to 14 Coyote Power GT.X-Force is a relatively new exhaust company that's based out of Australia and gained a lot of popularity over there and slowly but surely their products are making their way over here to the U.S. where the demand and reviews have been favorable so far. Now again the Varex here is their bread and butter and is really exciting because it does give you full control of your exhaust tone at any time, on the fly, thanks to the remote control operation. Now a tunable exhaust system isn't exactly a new concept. Different companies have done it over the years with varying levels of success, and in fact Roush even implemented it recently on their new S550 cars. The biggest plus with the Varex here is you do have full control over your one at the push of a button here with the included key fobs from inside the car anytime. This means no getting out of the car, no messing with tools, anything like that.So how does it work? Well the Varex has an internal butterfly mechanism similar to a E-cutout that opens and closes with the key fob determining on how loud you want the muffler to be. Now keep it closed you'll have street mode which basically flows the exhaust through a chambered portion here in the muffler, keeping it quiet almost like a stock-like tone. But when you're ready to crank it up a little bit hold that button on the key fob all the way down. That butterfly mechanism swings open and at that point you have the race mode. It switches to a straight through portion of the muffler here giving you that very aggressive tone. The entire Varex system here has been constructed using durable stainless steel, polished to a nice bright finish and includes these four inch slash cut tips. Now the brains behind this operation here is this little control module that you do have to run inside the car using the included harness here but very straight forward and completely plug and play. These two ends plug into the muffler where this end plugs into the 12-vault source in your center console like we did with our 2011.Now guys we're going to call the install of the mufflers themselves about and hour which is standard for axle back and then maybe another 45 minutes to an hour getting your wire all situated. So, as always if you have any questions whatsoever with this exhaust system or if you need help with the install itself feel free to reach out to a Mustang expert. So if you're one of the many Mustang owners out there who can't quite decide if you want your car to be loud or quiet, well now you can have the best of both worlds here on the fly thanks to the Varex from X-Force available at AmericanMuscle.com.
