Description
Quality Construction. The Vortech V-2 SCi-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit in a satin finish is a fool-proof way to add some extra power to your Cobra. This kit features a centrifugal supercharger with an air inlet system that is made from heat-treated cast aluminum and finished in a sleek satin coating. The O-ring compressor housing seal and innovative impeller seal provide better sealing and reduced friction that makes quite the difference. These lightweight aluminum impellers have also been high-speed balanced to ensure a smoother operation.
Increased Power. The 1996-1998 Ford Mustang Cobras come with 305 horsepower and 300 lb./ft. of torque straight off the lot. This tuner kit provides an estimated, and impressive, 442 horsepower and 389 lb./ft.. of torque. The matched compressor supercharger unit that comes with most kits is integrated with Vortech's "Super Quiet" technology for a more appealing operation.
Difficult Installation. Vortech's supercharger tuner kit includes all the necessary hardware you will need for the installation. However, it is highly recommended that you have a professional with mechanical expertise perform this install. It should take about a day to complete.

Tuner Kit. Tuner Kits include the Supercharger Head Unit, piping, mounting bracketry and parts required for basic installation. Tuner Kits do not include fuel components, electronic components, programmer or calibration. Custom dyno tuning is required for operation.
