Description
Aluminum Construction. The Vortech V-2 SCi-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit with a Charge Cooler will transform your Cobra into an even bigger beast with increased power figures and a smoother operation. This system is manufactured from OEM-type cast aluminum and features a centrifugal supercharger and an air-to-water dual-pass charge cooler. Vortech's "Super Quiet" technology means an overall quieter operation as well. It is finished is a high-quality polish that is meant to last for years and years.
Heightened Power. From the factory, the 1999 Mustang Cobra gets a nice 320 horsepower with 317 lb./ft. of torque. This high output system increases its power to deliver up to 490 horsepower and 420 lb./ft. of torque. This is due, in part, to the integrated air/water dual-pass charge cooler configuration. The tuner kit helps make it possible to reach a whopping 725 horses.
Expert Level Install. This supercharger/tuner kit includes all the necessary hardware that you will need for the install. Mechanical expertise or professional installation is required; therefore, having a shop carry out the install is recommended. The entire kit is estimated to take about a day to install.
3-Year Warranty. All Vortech supercharger systems are covered by an exclusive 3-year unlimited mileage warranty and efficiency guarantee. See Vortech's website for complete warranty information.
Tuner Kit. Tuner Kits include the Supercharger Head Unit, piping, mounting bracketry and parts required for basic installation. Tuner Kits do not include fuel components, electronic components, programmer or calibration. Custom dyno tuning is required for operation.
Application. The Vortech V-2 SCi-Trim Supercharger with Charge Cooler in a Polished Finish will fit the 1999 Ford Mustang Cobra.
Please Note. This Supercharger Kit will require the use of a Battery Relocation Kit, part# 8N150-010 (sold separately).
