Description
Increases Engine Horsepower and Torque. Even with the awesome output of 300 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque from your fifth-gen Mustang GT’s 4.6L V8, it can produce more than that. Get the polished Vortech V-2 Ti-Trim Supercharger with Charge Cooler - Tuner Kit to turn it up several notches: to 462 horsepower.
Keeps Engine Cool. Built into the tuner is an air-to-air charge cooler system. With the unit’s 3-inch aluminum mandrel-bent charge tubes, there’s great air flow, thereby enforcing the proper operational temperature in the engine compartment.
Highly Customizable. Since this item is a tuner kit, it does not come with a fuel system upgrade or ECM reprogramming. On the other hand, it allows you to tune or fuel-modify it according to your wishes.
Covered by 3-Year Limited Warranty. For a period of 3 years after the date of purchase, Vortech covers this unit for any defects in the way it was made and the materials used to make it.
Expert-Level Installation. This tuner kit needs an expert level of mechanical skill for proper application. Installation is expected to take over 6 hours.
Tuner Kit. Tuner Kits include the Supercharger Head Unit, piping, mounting bracketry and parts required for basic installation. Tuner Kits do not include fuel components, electronic components, programmer or calibration. Custom dyno tuning is required for operation.
