Description
Boost Your 5.0 Fox. The Vortech V-3 Si-Trim H.O. Supercharger w/ Charge Cooler - Complete Kit - Satin is a bolt on kit for your 5.0 Foxbody Mustang that will give you the extra boost you want without the heat. The Vortech centrifugal supercharger offers a 100 horsepower increase over the stock trim, best of all this supercharger allows you to retain the stock drivability the car originally had.
V-3si Specifications. The power increase is achieved on 7.5-8.5 psi, leaving plenty of engine life. The V-3 si is capable of a maximum boost level of 26 psi and can spin a maximum speed of 55,000 rpm. This bolt-on supercharger kit is much more efficient than its root-style counterparts, keeping heat off the engine and sapping less power.
Keep Your Engine Cool. Saving your 5.0’s power is an air/water charge cooler. The charge cooler allows more power while reducing the chance of detonation. A boost timer keeps track of extra air, increasing the longevity of your 5.0. The blowers offset stance keeps heat off the engine and allows airflow both around the supercharger and engine. The quiet Vortech supercharger is a CARB compliant unit. High flow fuel pump and injectors included along with an upgraded MSD ignition.
Moderately Difficult Installation. Installation of the centrifugal supercharger will take at least twelve hours. The mounting brackets, hardware, idlers and drive belt for the V-3 is included in the package. Tools required for the job include: a ratchet set, wrenches and various other hand tools.
