Description
Increased Horsepower. With the words "super high output" in its name, you know the polished Vortech V-7 YSI S.H.O. Supercharger - Complete Kit is serious about upping the power in your 1986-1993 5.0L Mustang. With its polished componentry, it will look good doing it, too.
Superior Design. Vortec's V-7 Supercharger has been designed and tested in their SAE-J1723 compliant supercharger test cell. The high efficiency impeller and housing are machined from billet aluminum with inlet and discharge ducts that use high heat resistant silicon sleeves and stainless steel clamps. The system incorporates a high-flow bypass valve for surge-free operation and mounts with a dual-plate, cast aluminum and steel mounting bracket that is rigid while remaining light weight.
Installation Notes. Installing a Supercharger system is an involved process that needs to be done correctly or it could cause damage to your engine. You will need to feel comfortable working on your engine and have the tools and equipment to do this installation/upgrade properly. In the event that you are not comfortable working on and modifying engines, or you do not have the tools and equipment, or both, then it is highly recommended you take this system to a professional and have them install it.
Limited Warranty. Vortec warranties its street legal supercharger systems to be free from defects in material and workmanship in the bearings, gears, gearcase, impeller and volute for 1 year. The balance of the system, excluding the fuel system and other Forcepower parts, will also be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 year.
