Aggressive GT Styling. Now you can give your New Edge Pony the aggressive styling of a GT Mustang with a Hood scoop.

Quality Materials. The Mustang Hood Scoop is made of reaction injection molded polyurethane for a virtually unbreakable part that can handle the everyday bumps and abuse that other cars suffer from.

No Drilling. No drilling or messy fiberglass is required for installation. This Hood Scoop installs easily with the supplied 3M doubled sided automotive bonding tape.

Application. This Mustang Hood Scoop is specifically designed to fit the 1999-2004 GT, 1999-2002 V6 Mustangs, 2001 Bullitt & 2003 Mach1, this hood scoop will not fit the V6 and Cobra style heat extractor hoods.

This is a good scoop. If your looking for something to go in the middle like a billet grill, there is nothing that fits.

Couldn't give it 5 stars because of a few problems with it. One problem may have just been the paint shop's fault: The hood scoop fit when it arrived (I think), but when they painted it, I had to flex it while placing it on the hood to get it to fit right. And even then it still didn't fit right. Now, either I didn't notice that it was misshapen at first, or the paint shop messed it up. Either way, if you're careful you should be able to flex the part while putting it on the hood and not have too much trouble. That said, the adhesive tape blows. I'm not sure I'm comfortable driving 80 on the freeway with this thing, while trusting it not to fly off and smash my windshield in. I plan on pulling up a corner or two and slapping on some gorrilla glue between the tape and the scoop, if it hasn't set hard enough. The problem is that the side that goes down on your car will stick like no other, but the side that sticks to the hood scoop isn't nearly as bond-happy.Now, despite a few problems, this thing looks amazing. I had it painted black and put it on my '02 Mineral Grey V6 with a black Mach 1 style hood decal and I love the way it looks. At least, it looks good from a distance, but from inside the car or just up close on the sides you can see that some parts of it aren't completely flush. If you're going for perfection, or you're putting your car into a show, I might either reconsider this part, or consider having a professional with experience install the part. Note that the back end of the hood scoop is going to rise off of your hood by about a half inch or so. This is normal, and gives the hood scoop a "taller" appearance. That probably doesn't need to be said, but just in case someone was confused.
