Description

Upgrade with Dura Grip. If your 5.0's not laying out some nice, even black stripes from both wheels when you burn out, it might be time to invest in an axle rebuild. The Dura Grip Positraction Rear Differential from Yukon Gear is the solution in this kit, incorporating a nodular case with forced 4320 in a heavy-duty construction.

31 Spline Strength. Upgrading from 28 splines to 31 splines on your axles allows your pony to push out plenty more power to the pavement reliably, without dealing with shredded axle teeth or ruined differentials. This 8.8 Axle Kit includes new 31-spline 4-lug axles that match up great with the included Dura Grip Posi Diff. These axles are constructed from tough 1541H alloy for extra strength.

What's in The Kit. This kit includes new axle bearings, seals, carrier bearings and races, carrier shims, and the Dura Grip Positraction 31-spline Rear Differential with (2) 31-spline, 4-lug axles.

Application. This Yukon Gear 8.8 Axle Kit includes new Axles with a Dura Grip Positraction Differential and is specifically designed for 1979-1993 5.0L Mustang models.
