How and where do you pass the wires and cables for the gauges???? into the vent????

    DanteF

    • The wires can be passed through the window and the firewall, or you may choose to drill into the dash under the pod cover (just be careful not to damage anything if you drill).

      Gauge pod

Adhesive tape is no good. Unit does not match interior at all it looks really cheap. If your going to paint it it will work but if your looking for something factory. This is not it.

      Works great

Fits good for the price, 3m tape it comes with won't work with our dash, but just use some epoxy and it will be all set. I painted it with a black spray can, makes it look better. Overall very happy

      This pod gauge sucks

No where and I mean no where does it say you must use Stuart Warner gauges. I bought 2 ford 2 1/6 and 1 autometer 2 1/6 size gauges just as the specs of this pod says to use and guess what they don't fit. Even with locking collars. So my Ford tech called CDC the manufacturer of this and they said the gauges we bought won't work. Only Stewart Warner gauges will work on this pod. American Muscle says fits ALL 2 1/6 gauges. Sorry fans does not. I could use RTV or 2 sided tape to hold them in place but why would I.

      Poor craftsmanship

Doesn't sit correctly on the dashboard. Great concept with the rounded pods, but Autoneter makes a better pod.

Gauge Pod looks great, fitment was a little off

I have a water temp gauge, oil pressure gauge and boost gauge for my 2005 Mustang GT. The gauge looks great, but the fitment is not quite flush with the dashboard. Also, with 3 different gauges requiring several wires, the gauge does not offer much room to tuck away in the back. So the gauge sits a little higher in the back then the front. I decided to buy a dash cover and place it over the gauge pod. Now everything looks awesome and has a clean look to it.

Does its job but is an eye sore

This dash pod does what it's supposed to, but it honestly is just so ugly. Obviously that's just my opinion but still. In addition to this, the tape that holds it on eventually lifts up so you can see that it's just taped on and looks extremely cheap. I would recommend you go with the BOSS style pod, $5 more and a whole lot better on the eyes.

      CDC dash gauge pod

Fits perfect in the pocket and the 3m held well! You'll have to silicone or 3m tape the guages in as they don't fit snug. Also it doesn't come clear black may have to be clear coated and sprayed but overall looks very clean and fits well for $100.

Great product A&M has done it again!!

I recently purchased this gauge pod for my 2005 Mustang the color matches the original factory cover very easy install and it hooks on to the front part of your vents, but doesn't affect airflow at all.

      Great Pod for Gauges

This CDC triple gauge pod is a great addition to the interior look of the Mustang. I chose three Ford Racing gauges to go with this pod and all the gauges fit perfectly into the pod without any difficulty. The pod itself does not fit perfectly on the dash. It raises a little on the front left side from the dash, but it is not that noticeable. I added some stronger tape to try and keep that spot down, but it did not seem to help. The time it took to install the gauges and this pod was closer to three hours and the instructions that came in the box were very helpful. $100 for this pod is a fair price but I would not pay anymore for it. Overall this pod along with the gauges gives the interior a great appearance. I recommend this pod to anybody who wants to get gauges and/or wants to change up the interior look of their Mustang.

      Maci

The fitment on this was a little disappointed. I had the shop paint it as close as they could to match the dash other than the cheap plastic. Painted def looks better. Unfortunatly it does not sit the way most people would like. Raised a little from the 3m tape but still looks great

      Adds unique styling

This gauge pod adds a very unique style to the interior of your Mustang. I have been to many car shows and everyone always compliments me on the gauges. The fit is perfect on the dash. The longest part of the install is running the wires through the dash and wiring up the gauges themselves. Take your time labeling the wires and routing them so they are hidden well and it turns out looking like the factory installed it. I have purchased two of these; the first I had a body shop custom paint but my car is exposed to the sun during the entire day and the paint did not last (bubbled up). Word of caution if having it painted that the body shop knows what conditions your car is exposed to.

      A must have

This item is really great. The gauges fit very well and the display is very great. The only negative is the double sided tape doesn't work well.

      CDC Triple Gauge Pod

This triple gauge pod is amazing! Installed this on my 2005 V6 Mustang. The installation which included installing the gauges as well was not bad at all. It took about a good 3 hours to get everything into place. The gauge pod fit perfectly on the dash.would definitely recommend this to any 05-09 Mustang owner. It adds a whole new look to the interior of the Stang!

      Great Gauge Pod

Very clean line up and great looks for the contour of the dash. Easy install with wires running behind the dash. I would purchase this item again if I had to do it all over. Its nice to not have the gauges out from then having to look to the side all the time.
