BBK off road H Pipe review

I have a 1998 Mustang Cobra I left the the stock cat back system on , I installed the BBK Off road H Pipe I have much better performance and the exhaust sounds much better and less weight than the stock H pipe. It's well worth the money.

    BBK off road h pipe

This was super easy to install. It brought my cobra to life. After install I was smiling ear to ear. I paired it with the Flowmaster 44 cat back exhaust. I highly recommend it!

    Must-Have Mod

Installed this on my 96 cobra, and it really feels like the car is breathing better now. I still have the stock ford mufflers on, but it is still pretty loud when you get on the gas. Install wasn't that hard, except for loosening the exhaust manifold bolts.

product fit great, i was not real impressed with how the h pipe was cut into the main pipes, it should have been cleaned up better. overall really happy.

This is what every mustang needs.

I had this installed today in place of the factory h pipe. I already had the Flowmaster 40s welded in and it has always sounded good, but paired with this bbk offroad h pipe, it sounds like a beast. This is the sound I've always wanted in my mustang. I couldn't be happier.

    Woke up the car

BBK pipe fit perfect..The only thing they messed up was the clamp to connect the H was to small. So I had to buy a 2 1/2" clamp..But after taking of the 4 Cats on my 22,000 mile 1998 Cobra..It really woke this car up I could feel the HP increase, not sure if its 15-20 as BBK claims but it is some type of gain perhaps 10 ? This to go along with my Magna Flow Magna Packs..Very Loud !! When I'm on the Gas..

    Jim S. 97 Cobra

Very easy to install. More than half the weight of old pipe. Snug fit where pipe fits together. That's great for no leaks. Hangers fit great at Transmission cross member and could adjust as needed. Better at throttle response. Very happy with product.

    Bbk offroad h pipe

I have flowmaster 40 series on the car and ir had the stock h pipe with cats car sounded good but wasn't what I was looking for so got the bbk offroad h pipe and for guys that know how mustangs sound this part woke that up has a nice sound and really enjoy that it now has the growl lime a mustang should have . Installation on my car was easy took some PB Blast and soaked the header bolts and by the way passenger side remove O2 sensor first to get to header bolt and let it soak for 5 to 10 minutes and I had a pull bar no air tools (air tools cuts the time in half) but after I got rhe bolts loose everything came out easy remove other 3 O2 sensors when stock pipes were out of car and installed the 2 driver side and rear passenger side O2 sensors then bolted the bbk h pipe right up and rhe sound is awesome

    Great Sound!

Absolutely love the new sound of my Cobra! Installation was a piece of cake after removing stock mid pipe. New O2 sensor location makes for extremely easy installation. Installed in my driveway using ramps and jack stands. Sounds absolutely amazing paired with my Flowmasters. Turning heads everywhere I go, and puts a smile on my face every time I step on it! Installation time depends on how long it takes to get the corroded stock mid pipe off. Took 25 minutes to install the BBK mid pipe once the stock pipe was out of the way! TIP: Use some PB Blaster or other penetrating oil and spray on all your nuts/bolts on the stock pipes otherwise you may struggle with one bolt for over 2 hours.....
