When your Mustang rolled off the assembly line, Ford programmed it to cater to the needs of the daily driver, not the performance enthusiast who adds aftermarket bolt-on modifications in the search for more power. If you have added a cold air intake, throttle body, exhaust or other performance upgrades, you'll need a custom tune to see the full power potential that these aftermarket bolt-on modifications can make.One Custom Brew City Boost Tune File.
When you order a Rev-X Tuner by SCT, you aren't just getting a tuner. You're getting the tuner and (1) dyno-tested custom tune file that has been written specifically for your Mustang and your particular modifications by a Brew City Boost calibrator. By optimizing the air/fuel ratio, adjusting ignition timing and tweaking variable cam timing, a Brew City Boost Custom Tune will squeeze out the extra power Ford left on the table. Brew City Boost offers your choice of two different tunes including Daily Performance and Race. You even get your choice of octane level.
Daily Performance Tune. An all-around performance tune designed for everyday use. Engine responsiveness and power is increased, and transmission shift points and pressure are optimized for performance while retaining everyday drivability. This tune is available for 87, 89, 91, 93 and ethanol octane levels.Choice of Pedal Response.
Race Tune. This tune is optimized for maximum acceleration by providing maximum power while minimizing MPH losses during shifting. Not recommended for street use. This tune is available for 100+ and ethanol octane levels.
Available with your choice of throttle response, the responsiveness of the accelerator pedal can be adjusted with custom tuning. Please note that Standard response and Aggressive response will yield the same performance from the engine.
Standard. With the Standard option the accelerator pedal is mapped similar to a stock vehicle; 25% pedal input will open your throttle 25%, 100% pedal input will open the throttle 100%. This option is recommended for those how are happy with the factory throttle response. WiFi Updates and Cloud Tuning.
Aggressive. With the Aggressive option the accelerator pedal is mapped more aggressively; 25% pedal input will open your throttle 50%, 75% pedal input will open the throttle 100%. This option provides a quicker response and a much sportier feel to the pedal.
The Rev-X Tuner by SCT is Wi-Fi capable meaning it will always be up to date. Once setup with your Wi-Fi password, the Rev-X will download the latest firmware updates via the internet. Besides firmware updates, your Rev-X can also download tune files via the cloud, reducing the hassles of transferring files from your PC to your Rev-X device.Data Logging and Monitoring.
The Rev-X Tuner by SCT makes it easy to read the Built-In Data Logging and/or the Real Time Data, so you can view popular sensor data such as EGT, Air/Fuel Ratio or any other 0-5 Volt source. Spark plug gap on tuned EcoBoost engines should be set at 0.028".

It's highly recommended to download Free LiveLink and Updater Software. The LiveLink Application is used to view, data log, record and playback your Mustang's PCM data on a laptop computer. The Updater Application lets you update your device's Firmware, Tune Revision or to load Custom Tunes onto your device. Requires Windows Vista/7/8/10 and an internet connection.
