Peace of Mind. When installing a new Centerforce Clutch in your GT Mustang to handle all that awesome power you have two options, resurfacing your old stock flywheel, or getting a brand new matching Centerforce steel flywheel. A new CenterForce steel flywheel is a much better choice than resurfacing, as it will dictate how well your new clutch will perform, as well as how long it will last. Steel flywheels are perfect for street and race applications where off the line acceleration is desired.

Billet Steel Construction. CAD/CAM-designed for excellence and precision CNC machined to strict tolerances from Billet Steel, this 11" Centerforce Mustang flywheel features a ring gear of 164 teeth, an engine balance of 0 oz, and a six bolt main pattern.

SFI 1.1 Certified. If you're using this flywheel in high performance or racing applications, SFI Certification is critical so you can run your Pony at the track or strip. And it's great for peace of mind even in a daily driver - at higher RPMs, stock cast flywheels have been known to explode.

Application. This CenterForce Billet Steel Flywheel fits the 1996-1998 GT, late 2001-2010 GT and Bullitt Mustangs with a six bolt main and is the perfect companion to your new Centerforce Clutch.

Application Note. CenterForce DFX and LM Clutches will require the use of a Centerforce flywheel for operation.

Technical Note. This CenterForce Performance flywheel has a 6 bolt main that is found in the 1986-1998 Mustang GT's, 1993-1995 Mustang Cobra's and late 2001-2010 GT's.

Please Note. Romeo built engines have 6 bolt cranks and Windsor built engines have 8 bolt cranks. If the 8th character in the VIN is an "X" its a Windsor block, if the 8th character in the VIN is a "W" it is a Romeo block. There is an exception to that rule as the 2001 Bullitt Edition Mustang feature a Romeo built engine. If unsure please check with your Ford dealer to determine if you have a 6 or an 8 bolt main.
