Drop Weight, Lower ET's. Drag racers know reducing your Pony's weight results in lower elapsed times. That is why replacing your factory metal trunk lid with this great looking lightweight fiberglass version is a no brainer.

Carbon Fiber Finish. Infused with a real Carbon Fiber top surface this Mustang deck lid features a smooth black gel coat underside for a superb show quality finish that is ready to bolt-on straight out of the box.

Quality Construction. Constructed from high quality, hand laid high impact fiberglass, this Mustang trunk lid features pre-drilled mounting points and a reinforced metal latch plate for extra strength.

Application. This Carbon Fiber Decklid utilizes the original OEM hinges and latch to bolt up in the factory location all 2005 to 2009 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt and Shelby GT500 models.

Please Note: Drilling will be required for installation of a rear wing spoiler.

Technical Notes. AmericanMuscle recommends professional installation of all body parts. We also recommended test fitting these products before they are painted.

    Decent buy

    First off the weight difference between stock, and this is crazy. Now my build isnt race car status, this was more just for looks. Secondly, the fitment isn't perfect, theres a pretty drastic gap from rear quarter panel to trunk now. So id only recommend this trunk if your stang stays in a garage.

    It looks so amazing!

    This product is really good if you just dont want a spoiler it gives it that classy bullit look and it looks so clean and agressive. I also like how its carbon fiber it makes the car stand out from others. Really easy to install, it only took me like 30 minutes to install.
