    Review & Install Video

Hey everyone I’m Justin with and I’m taking a look at this chrome cup holder cover that fits very well, in the newly redesigned interiors of the 2010 and up Mustangs. Ford made a lot of really nice improvements to these particular interiors, however it seems like they overlooked the center console area, that’s where this cover really shines. The cover is constructed from 100% billet aluminum and then is triple chrome plated, and polished to a brilliant finish. It’s available in either the plain chrome finish here, or the engraved GT logo we have installed in our 2011. The result is a part that flows extremely well with the existing chrome accents in your cars interior. Installation should take you about 5 minutes from start to finish, simply clean the area first with the supplied alcohol wipes then adhere carefully, a little install tip, make sure you have the cover aligned with the left side of the cup holder door to make sure the door opens properly. There’s no doubt that the interiors of the 2010 and newer Mustangs are a nice step up over previous years, however with any car there’s always room for improvements. So if you’re looking to finish what Ford started in terms of interior styling, then you’ll definitely want to check out this chrome cup holder cover.

Modern Styling. Complete the unfinished look of your boring stock center console with a cup holder door panel cover for impressive interior styling. With a bright chrome finish, this door panel cover matches the existing chrome accents of your Mustangs stock interior.

Superior Quality. This Cup Holder Door Cover Panel is crafted from high quality 6061 T6 billet aluminum that is then triple chrome plated and polished to a brilliant shine.

Easy Installation. Simply peel the two sided 3M tape from the back and set in place over the stock cup holder door panel for an easy 5 minute install. Go from boring stock to show winning custom in just minutes.

Application. This Chrome Cup Holder Door Panel Cover is designed to fit all 2010 to 2014 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, BOSS and Shelby GT500 models.

      Dress up your stang

Purchased this chrome cover to shine up the inside of the 2014 3.7. Makes a big difference as the interiors a basically all black. Good product for the money.

Nice Addition To The Interior But Prone To Scratches

Like many other interior billet pieces, I knew this cover would be prone to scratches. My arm rest billet pieces added a few months ago are full of them despite being careful with them for shows. I sprayed several coats of clear enamel on this cup holder cover hoping this would minimize the scratches, but the clear paint scratches as much as the bare cover and is prone to fingerprints, too. I added this piece by placing it to the left of the lid after test fitting it, and the installation was easy. Overall, this is a nice looking addition to my interior although a bit pricey, but my concern is the scratching. I show my car and am careful with these billet pieces, but if this cover wears poorly, I may remove it. I hope not. It looks great in my interior and sets off the console. We'll see!

      Easy - beautful

It added a lot to my stang. Was easy to put on. You just have to play with it until it fits just right and the compartment door will open with out hitting.

This product helps to customize the interior!

The cover was easy to install but you need to locate it properly before you adhere it to the door so as to allow the door to open. It looks great once you install it. Five minute install including the time to line it up. I would recommend this if you really want to custimize the interior.

I debated on getting a logo or plain. I got the plain chrome and it looks outstanding.

      Cup holder cover

Looks great. Had to offset it a bit to keep cover from hanging up on the edge of the cup holder bin when opening.

      Not as good as expected

I have to disagree with the other reviews. I was hoping for a whole new cup holder door when I bought this but when I received it and realized I hadn't read the description carefully, I figured I would still keep it rather than return it. I tried installing it making sure it was aligned on the left, but the cup holder still wouldn't open. I removed it and reattached it only to find it was a little crooked. I installed it again, being very careful to make sure it was pretty far left and by now it was slightly warped. So now it doesn't sit totally flat. This thing collects fingerprints like nobody's business. And even after readjusting the installation twice, even giving it more than 1/4" gap from the right side, it still bangs against the console when you try to open it. Furthermore, I disagree that it looks like it came with the car. It is totally noticeable that it is just a piece of chrome sitting on top of the cup holder. It's not flush with the surrounding trim as a result. I'll probably cut my losses and remove this piece and stick with the plain ole plastic cup holder cover.

I'm sorry to hear you received a defective cup holder cover. If it was warped as you mentioned, that would be why it's not fitting properly. We'd be happy to set you up with a replacement or you can certainly return it. Please give us a call and let us know what you'd like to do!

      Looks like factory original piece

This is a nice heavy chrome piece that fits very nicely with the appearance of my GT; I followed other reviewers advice when installing, and made sure to place it to the far left of the cup holder cover to make sure it would not rub when opening the cover door. When I told friends I added it, they mentioned that it looks like it came with the car, and does not look like an after market item.

      Sizzling Shiny Stuff

I like this captivating chrome cup cover! As mentioned in some of the other reviews, a couple of cautions are: (1) It reflects light from the windows and (2) direct sun will heat the cover up enough to burn your hand or arm, however the cover is far enough forward where your arm would not normally be that close. (3) Again be sure that your final install is centered top to bottom and to the left side of the cup holder door for it to open properly. (4) Because it is chrome it will scratch pretty easy but for the seductive site it creates I think it is worth it.

Fit well, but you have to be careful you can open the cover after installation. It does reflect a lot of light from the windshield - llike having a mirror between the seats. Does look nice though.

      Chrome Cup Holder Shines!

This is an excellent interior chrome addition to your Mustang especially if you have already added other chrome parts. It is a very noticeable upgrade. First I felt like it reflected the sun too much (it's almost like having a mirror in your lower peripheral vision) but I got used to it quickly. In fact, I installed it first with removable tape just to make sure the reflection wouldn't bother me while driving but after about a week installed it with the 3m double-sided tape. Installation is very easy; just make sure you place it straight and in the middle as the part fits exactly over the existing cup holder. If you don't put it exactly in the middle you will not be able to open/close the cover.

      Width too tight

The Width on this product is too tight when opening and closing. It needs to be shaved a very tiny amount.
