Application. This Chrome Engine Dress Up Kit is designed to fit the 1964 to 1985 Ford Mustang equipped with a 289, 302, or 351W (Windsor) V8 engine. So now you can go from plain jane stock to classic chrome for a show winning look.

  • (2) Two valve cover gaskets

Will this part fit in my mustang? 1992 LX 5.0 fox body, 302ci engine

  • Depending on your intake manifolds size, and placement of your EGR valve it might or might not. I have a gt with the cobra intake manifold. And they ended up sitting to tall so the manifold couldn't fit with them. Along with my EGR valve. (My gt has an 89 302 in it)

    looks good

    Valve covers look good, only problems I had were, the T-handle bolts. the t-tops striped out when trying to tightin them up. And the breather caps for the valve covers wouldnt clear the intake because they were to tall, I had to go out and buy smaller ones to fit. Other then that it was a nice kit.

    Good product... Poor description...

    Everything looks great. My only complaint is that the valve covers will not fit on my 1994 with the stock upper intake. I needed to add a 1" intake spacer to allow the valve covers to not hit. I wish this was noted in the description of the fitment, but none the less I love the look and it is a very very good product for the price.

    302 dress up kit

    As for the item itself, it would have been a nice addition to my vehicle, but the item ended up not being able to fit because of the height of the covers. It's pretty upsetting when you wait for a part, and after taking a while to get to my house it ended up not fitting. As for the website, I love how everything is set up, but I would say add a little more detail on the items being sold.
