- How to Install Wheels on Your 1979-2013 Mustang
Hey, Justin here with AmericanMuscle.com, taking a closer look at our AmericanMuscle 2010 GT Premium style wheels fitting all 94-2004 Mustangs. The 2010 GT Premium was packed with features that were not available on the standard GTs at that time. These clean, stylish, and larger diameter 5 spoke wheels were one of those features. Our GT Premium wheels are offered in both 18 and 19” diameters, and in your choice of either a bright chrome finish, or a gloss black finish. Taking a tour around the shop, you’ll see we have the gloss black 18x9’s up front on our 2000 GT here, also sporting the GT Premiums in gloss black is our 2000 V6 back there on the Dynojet, with the 19” version on all 4 corners. Finally, our 98 GT back there on the lift has the 18x9’s in bright chrome. Besides the two diameter options, the 18” wheels are also offered in a few different widths, giving you the option of running a staggered fitment. If you’re not familiar, a staggered fitment simply means running a wider tire and wheel in the rear versus your fronts, giving you that old school muscle car stance that looks great on any Mustang. To make life a little easier we’ve put together some pre-built tire and wheel combos pairing your new GT Premium style wheels up with some of the top tires on the market today. By going with one of these pre-built combos, you not only get to take advantage of our free shipping and handling, and free mounting and balancing, but we’ll also guarantee proper fitment without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. On top of all that, all of our AmericanMuscle wheels are backed by a 1 year warranty on all finishes, and a lifetime structural warranty as well. Installing your new wheels and tires couldn’t be easier, all you need is a floor jack and some basic hand tools. Making sure your car is on level ground first, go ahead and crack the lugs loose before you get the car in the air. Once you’ve jacked the car up go ahead and swap your wheels, and that’s it. Getting all 4 wheels and tires bolted up should take you no more than an hour. Our GT Premium wheels are available in either black or chrome and are a great way to add some style to any New Edge or SN95 and you can find them right here at AmericanMuscle.com
