Some kits require you drill out the spindles to a strait hole. Looking at the photo it appears the stud has a taper that mats up with the stock spindle holes. Please confirm these are a no drill style kit.

    • This product by Competition Engineering will not require drilling for the installation.

      Comp Bump Steer Kit!

I had a UPR bump steer kit and well it broke twice after having it on my 01 for almost a year. I looked around and figured I have Moroso parts already, why not try their product! Boom easy to install, changed the way my car felt and it hasn't broken! The quality is great and I should of went with Moroso in the first place!

Bump steer kit. Over all, nice piece

Overall pretty good piece. Fit in functions as expected. I must have for lowered cars. I have nothing bad to say about them. Do you have a lowered car I definitely recommend them. For the most part these are pretty affordable....

      Must have for lowered stangs

I lowered my 04 GT and installed the caster plates that were recommended, but I felt the steering wander over bumps, on the brakes and in turns. after installing this kit that is all gone. installation was straight forward, but I recommend using the instructions for the steada kit as they are much easier to follow and understand. nice parts and no drilling was required. My steering input was reduced greatly. great product.

      Part was perfect

Before buying this kit, I went through several tie rods and another bump steer kit in about 3 months. No matter what I did to fix the rubbing I had while turning, it never went away. but this kit fit perfectly and hasn't failed at all. It's pretty simple to put on if you know what you're doing and have the necessary tools obviously. If not most shops will do it for about $100 plus the cost of an alignment. Unlike a lot of kits this one actually comes assembled so as soon as you get it you can put it on. It's definitely worth the money. Don't buy new tie rods to try and fix rubbing if your car is lowered, get this!

      bump steer kit

Good product, you just have to drill out the hole on the spindle for the bolt to fit. Make sure it's a tight fit tho cause you don't want to have any play with your streeing. Since I didn't have a drill I etched mine out with a carbite bit till the bolt went in by slightly tapping it with a hammer. Make sure you get it aligned right after or you will toast your tires really quick. Was surprised how good handling improved.
