            Reinforcement plates

Plates look great and beef up the lower torque box.

            Nice producr

My torque boxes are looking pretty beat after 32 years and 3 owners. I took a chance on buying these plates and am pleasantly surprised. Precision cuts and the perfect thickness of metal for the job. Metal seems like quality stuff. I haven’t installed them, but will soon.

            Nice

Directions say to pull the rear axle but I didn't, these are weld in and do require some bending to fit. Make sure you put these on before the subframe tie in!

            Every little bit helps

Already installed torque box reinforcements before welding in subframe connectors oh well these plates on and then the subframes and then it's going to be a roll cage so every little bit helps because this car is going to launch hard

This is a very nice think to buy if you dont want to broke your tracktion box. If you do a lot of burnout you need it.

            Good product

The torque boxes are good. Really needed if you plan on doing mods. Fit good and i recommend you do the subframe connectors at the same time as these, as well as control arms since you'll be in there anyway.

            About what I expected

Had to do some trimming for a good clean fit but glad I installed these before my frame ties. The torque boxes are thin from the factory so this helped stiffen them right up have to wait till spring for anymore testing.

Must have if you drag or compete

Simply a must have if you drag race or compete, these plates will add significant reinforcement to where your car feels the brunt of the punishment torque puts on your car. Comes well packaged and is about an hour labor at competent shop.

            cheap insurancwe j

Product fit well and looked good once welded into place. No performance gain but does give a piece of mind when you drop the clutch that the control arm will stay in place.

            A must with Subframe Connectors

I bought this the same time as the subframe connectors and I am glad I did! If you don't put these on first you will have to weld onto thin sheet metal instead of this think gauge! It brings all the thin corners together to make a real solid foundation.

            cheap mod

I added these plates with the intention of later installing torque box reinforcements to really strengthen the torque box area. The plates fit good and are a good price.

Makes the lower torque boxes like new again!

These were a must for my stang. The torque boxes had multiple cracks from years of abuse and these made them like new. Easy install as long as you can weld. Also they come wrapped in a coated paper to prevent corrosion which kept them ready for welding right out of the package. Just remember to put a coat of paint or undercoating on them to prevent rust after they are installed.

            Great Product

Think steel plates, precision cut fit, overall nice part. Only downside is if you do not have a welder you're going to need to get them professionally installed.
