Less Heat for More Power. The factory air-to-air intercooler is fine for the daily driver, but not for those looking to increase the performance of their turbo charged pony. The cp-e Delta Core Front Mount Intercooler is much larger then the stock unit to provide much lower Air Intake Temperatures (AIT). By lowering intake temperatures you eliminate the possibility of detonation, which in turn increases your power possibility's for future modifications.

Superior Construction. cp-e proudly designs and manufactures their Delta Core Front Mount Intercooler right here in the USA. Constructed from aluminum for its ability to quickly dissipate heat, this Intercooler features a bar and plate design with cast end tanks. The end tanks are designed with Turbulence Reduction Fins to evenly distribute airflow throughout the entire core to optimize cooling efficiency while eliminate internal turbulence.

Direct Bolt-On Upgrade. Designed to be a direct bolt-on upgrade that replaces the factory intercooler this cp-e Delta Intercooler installs with just basic hand tools. No cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications are required for a straight forward installation. All necessary parts and instructions are included.

Recommended Upgrade. To further improve the air flow and cooling capacity of this cp-e Air-to-air intercooler AmericanMuscle recommends installing a matching cp-e Intercooler Pipe Kit at the same time. They are available in a satin black or red finish.

Application. This cp-e Delta Core Front Mount Intercooler is specifically designed to fit the 2015 to 2017 EcoBoost Mustang's equipped with the turbocharged 2.3L Inline 4-cylinder engine. Works with both factory and aftermarket intercooler piping.

      Where is the Air Inlet sensor connector, and are the dimensions of this intercooler equal or larger than the Nishimoto version?

      • Hello, the core dimensions for the cp-e Delta Core Front Mount Intercooler (15-17 Ecoboost) are: 22" x 5" x 6.5″ The core dimensions for the Mishimoto Performance Intercooler - Silver (15-17 EcoBoost) are: 21.06" x 5.75" x 5.28" As for the sensor, that should be installed in no different a location than it is, relative to the stock intercooler.

          buy it

          my ait's are the same temperature as outside and I'm sure as the temperature outside drops, the aits will be lower than the outside temperature. Very high quality FMIC

          Way better then stock Intercooler

          This intercooler looks great and fits perfect. Lowered my inlet temps drastically.

          Cpe intercooler

          Quick and easy to install , works wonders they says it suppose to pull colder charged air and it did end up dropping the charge temp by about 8-10 degrees

          It does the job

          Even in 95F heat we been having here in the east heatsoak is minimal. The harder you drive the lower the IAT temp goes down. Try that with stock IC and you already know the outcome. The only thing I don't like is that it retain exact factory location. Now this might be a plus to some but for me personally I wish it stuck out towards the front some for a little cosmetic pleasure lol.
