Wake Up Your Pony. Installing a set of steeper gears is a great way to get your Mustang into the power band quicker for improved low end torque, faster acceleration off the line and quicker ET's. A set of 3.08 Dana Spicer Gears will really wake up your Pony.

Quality Construction. This Dana Spicer ring and pinion kit is manufactured from high-quality steel for extreme performance. Using a 5-cut milling process and specific heat, hobbing, peening and lapping procedures these gears gain optimal surfaces and profiles to ensure the highest quality and smoothest ride possible.

Recommended Upgrade. Changing the rear axle gear ratio will throw off the calibration of your Mustangs speedometer, but a Speedometer Gear, a Ford Racing Speedometer Recalibration Tool or a Bama SF4/X4 Power Flash Tuner is a quick and easy way to fix this issue.

Application. This Dana Spicer Ring and Pinion Gear set will fit all 1986 to 2014 V8 Mustangs equipped with a 8.8in rear end, including the LX 5.0, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1, SVT Cobra, BOSS and Shelby GT500 models as well as the 2011 to 2014 V6 models.

Attention 2010 and newer Mustang Owners. Starting in 2010 Ford changed the inner rear gear pinion bearing in all 8.8" equipped Mustangs. Because of this you will require a new 8.8" rear gear pinion bearing (Ford part# 9L3Z-4630-A) for proper installation, please see drop down option above.

Technical Note. Installation costs will vary, but a good rule of thumb is between $250 and $300. Be sure to work with a reliable shop that you trust for installations. You can also save money on your installation labor by having your Trac-Lok rebuilt at the same time as your gears are installed, see drop down option above.

    nice daily

    for my 10 gt i was looking for something to replace what had broken. i wanted something that was smooth but wasn't fast just a cruiser and these are exactly what i was looking for. ford put them right in. thanks
