Review & Install Video
What's going on, guys? I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com and today I am bringing you my quick overview of the Dash Trim Ring Kit for your 4-wheel drive headlight and 12 valve knobs fitting your 2010 through 2014 F-150. So, in this video, I'm gonna break down who these might appeal to, what you should expect to be spending, the construction and materials that went into this kit. Last but not least, we'll take a quick look at the installation where you're gonna be looking at an incredibly easy, 1 out of 3 wenches on the difficulty meter, and about less than 15 minutes to get these onto your truck.
So, these should definitely appeal to the F-150 owner that's either looking to incorporate a little bit of a platinum look to the inside of their truck as stainless or polished can really bring it up to modern times, or if you're just looking to cover up some war wounds as your headlight knob as well as your 4-wheel drive knob can be in a little bit of a high traffic area. So, no matter the interior color of your truck or however [inaudible 00:00:50] options, stainless steel always has a great tendency to bring your truck up to modern times as stainless and brushed bits are typically what you're gonna see in brand new trucks. Now, I do wanna add that if this really isn't gonna be something that you like, you can do one of a couple of things. One of which, take a look on the website as we're gonna have a ton of other options for you. Or, you can honestly take these and take a scuff pad to them to give it a little bit more of a brushed look if you don't like a high shine.
So, this is not only gonna mesh pretty well with your interior trim right from the factory, but I do wanna add that there's a ton of other small accessories that are very inexpensive that you can install on your truck and if you're gonna pair them together, they're gonna make your interior look that much nicer.
So, taking a quick look at the construction and materials here, we're gonna see that these are gonna be 100% stainless steel, which are then gonna be polished to a very high shine. Now, again, if you're not gonna be looking for more of a polished look, check out some of the brushed looks that we do have on our website or you can honestly take a scuff pad to these if you're looking for a little bit more of a rugged look.
So, in terms of the pricing here, you should expect to be spending only around 30 bucks for this kit and in my opinion, for the price you really just can't beat it considering that you're gonna be getting away with 100% stainless steel as well as incorporating some platinum-level trim looks into your F-150. So, in terms of the installation, just like I had said in the beginning of the video, you're gonna be looking at an incredibly easy, 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty meter, and less than 15 minutes to get these into your truck.
So, one of the things that I really like about most, if not all, of these interior accessories is that they're going to install with 3M double-sided tape. It's as easy as literally pulling off the backing and sticking it down. But before you do that, it's a really great idea to make sure that any type of grease or wax residue is removed from the area to ensure that you're gonna have a tight bond.
All right, so just to wrap things up here, some final thoughts. If you're the F-150 owner that's looking to incorporate a very subtle, inexpensive, and easy-to-install mod that's gonna give your truck a little bit of a platinum flare, I would definitely suggest checking out this kit. So, that's my quick review and breakdown for the Dash Trim Rings fitting your headlight, 4 wheel drive and 12 valve knob and polished for your 2010 through 2014 F-150 available right here at americanmuscle.com.
