Competitive Edge. Get the edge on our competition by upgrading your 1999-2003 SVT Lightning to a Driveshaft Shop One Piece Aluminum Driveshaft. This lightweight, one-piece Drive Shaft will reduce unwanted weight for quicker elapsed times at the drag strip allowing you to easily beat all comers.
Light Weight. The Driveshaft Shop's One Piece Aluminum Driveshaft is much lighter and stronger than the steel factory driveshaft found on 1999-2000 model years. This lighter Driveshaft greatly reduces rotating mass to improve your Lightning's 0-60 and 1/4-mile track times.
Superior Quality and Construction. The DriveShaft Shop manufactures their Shafts from 4" diameter 6061-T6 aluminum tubing for superior torsional strength. This Driveshaft features a 1350 front u-joint with yoke that mounts directly to the transmission. While outback a 1350 u-joint with a direct fit flange mounts to the differential.
Extra Clearance. This light weight one-piece aluminum Driveshaft features a narrower 4" diameter design. This slimmer layout will allow for the extra clearance needed to avoid interference that can happen on lowered F-150 Lightning’s equipped with a 5" shaft.
High Speed Balanced. The Driveshaft Shop balances their Driveshaft’s at up to 9500RPM (revolutions per minute), on one of the most sophisticated balancing machines in the industry. This Driveshaft Shop One Piece Aluminum Driveshaft is rated for use on applications making up to 1000 horsepower and 3450 ft/lbs of torque.
One Year Limited Warranty. The DriveShaft Shop warrants all of its drive shafts for a period of 12 months as measured from the date of initial retail purchase. Drive shafts are covered for repair only, and only within the covered period. Some exclusions may apply, please see manufacturer's warranty for details.
