            Easy to do

This is an easy replacement. Once you get the bolts and hose nut to let go. Make sure you have some WD40 to use. Otherwise it was very easy to do.

            EGR Valve '01 V6

Fit was a little snug on one of the bolts, so easing both bolts at the same was what I had to do. 5 minute install otherwise and smooths out the motor, got rid of a rough idle when semi-warm. The rough idle was intermittent so I wasn't sure if I should really replace this, but I'm glad I did! Replaced at 190,000 miles, but you'd never know it.

            Great part.

Works wonderful! Breaths like a new pony! Only downfall isnt the part itself its ford's bolts. Shredded one off taking it out. Use some decent penetrating oil and you should be fine

            Straightforward, easy to install. Recommend

My mustang just hit 88,888 miles and was having some issues with running lean. Checked for vacuum leaks, fuel injectors and fuel pump were good. Turns out it was this bad boy. Very easy to install, took about 5 mins. If you have a high mileage motor there is likely more carbon buildup in your EGR than you expect. After I swapped this one in, no more lean codes. Car's idle has been more steady overall as well. My only complaint is that is has Made In China printed on the top of it, but what doesn't these days.

            Erg Valve 99-04 Ford Mustang

Error code P0401 was a pain to fix when I got the Service Engine Soon light, however once I bought this part in order to replace my old broken egr valve it not only erased error code P0401, but it made my Mustang run extremely well. I highly gurantee this part to all Mustang owners.

            Exact fit!!

Part came in quickly and only took a couple of minuets to install and fixed the rough idle and poor gas mileage I had been dealing with, along with the bad valve of course.

            EGR Valve

Valve arrived on time and undamaged although it was loose in carton. Installation was made by owner in a matter of several minutes. Noticed improved engine performance immediately.

            Good Quality Replacement

There aren't really any performance gains, but it does look a lot better under the hood. Fits great and takes about 10 minutes to install. A great choice if you need to replace your EGR valve.

            Pleasant surprise

I have a 2001 V6, so my old EGR valve was rusted and rust was beginning to spread. I read that it might give you some lost power, and i read right. Took me ten minutes to install, took it around the block and to my surprise, acceleration was smoother and my car was a bit faster. worth it!

            EGR Valve (99-04 V6)

Easy, inexpensive, and perfect fit. After swapping out the factory valve unit for this new one, it brought some life back into the engine. Worth the repair if you still have the old factory EGR valve installed.
