    Maintains OEM Drivability. The Exedy Stage 1 Clutch Kit is designed for street and moderate horsepower track use in your Ford Mustang V6. It maintains the drivability of the OEM clutch. This is the perfect clutch kit upgrade for your Mustang.

    Superior Material. This clutch kit is made with superior friction materials. The pressure plates are made with pliable material. This material is slip, high-heat, and burst resistant. The high clamp load handles modified engines. The higher clamp loads require extra pedal efforts. The drivetrain shock is reduced with the spring center dampers for smoother clutch engagement. The clutch cover has a 40% higher clamping load for higher torque transmitting capacity.

    Specifications. The torque capacity is 307 ft./lb. and the clamp load is 2271. The disc diameter is 8.9” / 225mm. The spline size is 15/16 inches or 24.3mm. The spline count is 22.

    1-Year Limited Warranty. This Stage 1 Clutch Kit and racing flywheel is covered for craftsmanship defects for 12 months from the purchase date. Read the warranty information to find out what limitations apply.

      Exedy Clutch performance

      Has A Really Great Bite to the Aluminum Flywheel and and same leg Strength as the stock OEM! Really Glad I went with the Stage 1 performance clutch as to the stock OEM clutch! Big Diffrence way better Clutch! Ford installed mine didn’t trust nobody else! Thanks American Muscle

      Best thing I did

      So my clutch was giving out so didn’t wanna just install a stock clutch. Improvement was great all around cruise in fourth gear on the freeway not even hitting a high rpm better response just super happy would use this clutch for a daily driver more aggressive love it

      Stage 1 clutch

      So far ive only druven on it for one day, staying under 4k rpm for 500 street miles or 1000 highway is what exedy says for the break in period. Grips good so far but i will post another review once iuts broken in and i can actually floor it.

      Best bang for the buck

      Needed a new clutch as old one was slipping, purchased this kit for my local mechanic to install and boy does this thing grip, increases clutch pedal pressure a tad bit but in no means an issue for city traffic driving, as well as being significantly cheaper than what my mechanic quoted me for just an oem clutch without a flywheel. Very satisfied with this clutch and have had no issues, I’m currently 600 Miles into this so far.
