Description
Good for Reverse Recovery. When your 1997-2024 F-150 pickup has gone nose-first into a mud-hole, pit, or other spot that requires a recovery, the Factor 55 Black Aluminum HitchLink 2.0 can prove to be a real lifesaver. Fitting into the standard 2" hitch receiver at the back of your vehicle, it is held in place by two steel alloy 5/8" hitch pins. Once anchored, it serves as a shackle mount for screw pin shackles, or alternatively D-rings, of the standard 3/4" size. This lets you set up a recovery strap inside a shackle or D-ring where it can't slip loose like it can from a standard recovery hook. The HitchLink 2.0 is strong enough to have a maximum working load of 9,500 lbs (and doesn't fail before 51,000 lbs).
Surpasses Steel Equivalents. Covered by a 1-year limited warranty, the Factor 55 Black Aluminum HitchLink 2.0 typically lasts a lot longer, thanks to its billet aluminum construction. It weights just 1.9 lbs, less than 25% the weight of an equivalent steel hitch shackle mount. It is coated in smooth black powder-coat paint for a stealthy look and added corrosion resistance. The part is made in the USA and is made from 6000 series military grade aluminum.
