Upgrade OEM Gears. Are you looking to upgrade to a stronger set of rear gears? Then look no further than installing a set of genuine Ford Racing Gears in your Pony. Ford Racing Ring and Pinion Gears are perfect for street, road, and race applications.

Superior Quality. Manufactured in the USA, these Ford Racing Mustang ring and pinion gears feature a super strong forged construction, CNC cut & lapped gear teeth, and are completed in a black oxide finish to resist corrosion.

Application. This Ford Racing Ring and Pinion Gear set will fit all 2010 to 2014 GT Mustangs. A master bearing kit is recommended by most installers, especially on high mileage vehicles, see drop down option above.

Attention 2010 and newer Mustang Owners. Starting in 2010 Ford changed the inner rear gear pinion bearing in all 8.8" equipped Mustangs. Because of this you will require a new 8.8" rear gear pinion bearing (Ford part# 9L3Z-4630-A) for proper installation, please see drop down option above.

Technical Note. Installation costs will vary, but a good rule of thumb is between $250 and $300. Be sure to work with a reliable shop that you trust for installations. You can also save money on your installation labor by having your Trac-Lok rebuilt at the same time as your gears are installed, see drop down option above.

        Great for boosted cars

Great gears for a supercharged coyote making around 600whp. Went from 3.73 to these and I'm loving it so far!

Gears can be a hard install at times. These took a little while but seam to be fine. Have about 1k miles on them no problem.

        High quality OEM Ford parts

I have these gears installed on my Built motor/turbo 2011 GT. In my opinion this is the perfect gear choice when using a MT-82 trans and a 28" tire for a 800hp street car. My car now has nice long gears for highway pulls and still does great at the track.

I have a 2017 auto GT with 3.15's. Am I able to upgrade to a lower ratio such as 3.55's?

      • You are able to upgrade to the 3.55 gear ratio.

3.15 Gears Are these the stock rear axle gears on my 2011 GT with 6 Spd Auto Trans? Trying to decide whether to switch to 3.55 vs 3.73. This is a daily driver and I do have a 44 mile daily freeway commute each way, so I drive long miles. But it feels like the stock gearing is so focused on max mpg that I am frequently at lower RPM's than I want when I go to punch it. I get about 21.5 mpg combined city/hwy, which is probably 75% hwy driving.

      • Do you have an auto trans or not, if you have a manual don't change gears, the manual is close ratio, you don't want to change, I have the track pack, the 3.73 is too close, you can't shift fast enough to make it work out. I am going to change to the 3.15, or the 3.08, it will work much better, and get you better gas milelage by far.

I have a 2011 GT/CS Automatic and I have purchased a set of 3:73 gears to install in it. What do I have to buy to recalibrate the speedo?

      • We recommend correcting your speedometer with a custom tune and we have many different options available! For example, we have the Bama Rev-X Tuner by SCT w/ 2 Custom Tunes, item number 39360G11, which would allow for recalibration of the speedometer! You can find that tuner below:

I have a 2013 auto GT CS with 3.15's. I had an accident and i need to change the rear axle. I have a spare rear axle from a 2014 v6 with 2.75's. What do You think?

      • Hello! While this swap is definitely possible, this gear change would cause your car to feel a bit sluggish when accelerating.
