I own a 2000 GT. It's lowered with SR performance suspension and sway bars. 3.73 gears, 5spd manual. Is this more or less a direct drop in? What's required for dropping this in place of my 4.6?

    • The Ford Performance 347 CI 350HP Sealed Crate Engine will not be a drop in for your 2000 GT and will require considerable amounts of work and additional parts. You will require a new transmission bellhousing, a new set of headers and mid pipe, a new k member with 5.0L mounts, plus numerous other parts. Additionally, this engine is set up to accept a carburetor, so if you want to run EFI, you will require a new intake, pcm, and wiring harness. To run a carb setup, you will require a new carb and significant fuel system modifications.

Would this be a perfect match for my 1999 Ford Mustang standard 3.8L V6? If so what other modes I would have to make???

    • The Ford Performance 347 CI 350HP Sealed Crate Engine would not be a direct drop in for your 1999 V6. Significant modifications would be required. including but not limited to suspension modifications, a new transmission, driveshaft, and rear end, fuel system modifications, a new k member and new engine mounts. Additionally this engine is set up for use with a carburetor.

Does my mustang 2010 v6 automatically work? and how and where I find everything necessary for the complete intalacion of this engine

    • The Ford Performance 347 CI 350HP Sealed Crate Engine will not be a direct replacement for your 2010 Mustang, and will require significant modifications for use, including a new transmission, exhaust, stronger front springs, driveshaft, upgraded rear end, custom motor mounts, and a number of smaller modifications. This engine is designed to be run with a carburetor, and as such will require multiple fuel system changes as well. We do not recommend this swap for your car, as the $ per horsepower would not be a good value after all the swap components and fabrication are completed. This engine works well in 1995 and older Mustangs that originally were equipped with the 302 H.O. that this engine is based on.
