Simplified 5.0L Engine Swap. The Ford Performance 5.0L Coyote Power Module Engine is ideal for upgrading any Mustang to a modern powertrain solution. Ford Performance engineers have created a specification based around the 2017 Mustang GT 435HP 5.0L Coyote V8 that simplifies the conversion. Components have been carefully selected to deliver the optimum performance and drivability. The power module engine features the 6R80 automatic transmission found in the 2017 Mustang GT. It also comes with an engine control pack and wiring harness so you convert to a modern fuel-injected V8.

High-Quality Performance Engine. The Ford Performance engineers selected the parts to optimize engine performance and still be civil for everyday driving. This power module will deliver reliable performance for a long time.

Straight Forward Installation. The Ford Performance 5.0L Coyote Power Module Engine provides a straightforward installation to simplify the engine swap.

24 Months / 24,000 Miles Warranty. The 5.0L Coyote Power Module Engine is backed against manufacturing defects for a period of 24 months or 24,000 miles traveled, whichever occurs first. The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is transferable.

Application. The Ford Performance 5.0L Coyote Power Module Engine with 6R80 Automatic Transmission is designed to fit all Ford Mustang models.

      Why does is this stated in the features? Mustang GT 409 Stainless Steel Tubular Exhaust Manifold on Right Side Only. Why right side only?

      • At this time, the manufacturer only includes the right hand side exhaust manifold with the Ford Performance 5.0L Coyote Power Module Engine with 6R80 Automatic Transmission.

      When you said, "it does not have provisions for a/c", you mean that no base can be installed on the block to install a compressor or is just for Idle speed sensors, programming and pulleys?

      • It is possible to get this set up with A/C. Ford recommends item number 399323 for use with this.

      Got a 08 v6 would i need to do any modifications to the chassis and what kind of gears and drive shaft should be used

      • To install this setup, you will need to upgrade to an 8.8" rear, and custom length driveshaft. A new K Member would be required, as well as numerous additional modifications.

      Got a 95 GT, so do I have to make any mod to drop this engine in> Will this come with the engine mount?

      • The Ford Performance 5.0L Coyote Power Module Engine with 6R80 Automatic Transmission will not include an engine mount. Significant modifications would be required for use in a 1995 GT, as this is the DOHC Coyote motor used in modern Mustangs as opposed to the older pushrod 5.0 engine your Mustang came originally equipped with.

          Best engine ever made. Broke my engine so I had to get it replace. 5.0 302 is the best engine made from ford in my personal view. A lot of horsepower for the buck.
