      Modifications required

I like how they look once installed, but needed to make two modifications to get them to fit my stock ‘91 LX 5.0. Passenger side: slot the two mounting holes on the throttle cable bracket to move the bracket up 1/4” to clear the valve cover. Driver’s side: grind 1/8” off the factory PVC fitting on the bottom of the upper intake plus 1/8” deep and 1” long on one valve cover fin to allow the upper intake to seat on the lower intake (new FElpro gasket) otherwise get a vacuum leak. Was surprised that FRP valve covers advertised to fit ‘86-93’ 5.0 FI Mustangs needed any mods.

Perfect For New Crate Motor with EFI

Bought these as a direct replacement for crate motor M6007X302B which came with valve covers for a carb setup. These are a perfect fit and help make the bay look clean.

      Looks 100mph faster!!!

Let's face it, all they do is keep oil from spilling out of the top end of your motor. But they sure do look great doing it. Don't forget new valve cover gaskets and ARP bolts to make the installation look it's best.

      Awesome look

Product was as clean and crisp in person just as it looked online. If you are looking for a newer look on your engine this is the way to go. Fits right in place and does not require a lot of time to install. I would recommend this product to my family and friends.

      these valve covers look amazing

I received the valve covers very quickly like always when you order from American muscle. They went on easy the only reason it ended up taking me the afternoon was on a 5.0 you have to remove the upper plenum. They look great and I had no leaks. The nice thing is they fit under the plenum with no clearance issues. I thought the price was fair and would buy again in the future.American Muscle is the best great service , fair prices , and good quality.

      Great looking valve covers!

Really pleased with these. I Purchased them because I wanted something different. So I went with these! Its a semi gloss black and the lettering and lines are a brushed silver look. They look way better than my stock covers. My car has stock rockers. THESE ARE A LITTLE SHORTER THAN STOCK COVERS. I have heard people having clearance issues with aftermarket rockers so keep that in mind. If you have stock rockers like me you'll be just fine. Over all id say a great product great with stock rockers looks great definetley reccomend them

      Amazing fit and look.

These valve covers were the ideal upgrade I needin order to fix my already leaking stock valve covers. After removing the upper intake it is very easy to install, I used the ford racing valve cover gaskets to complement the covers, it's been almost 6 months and not a drop of oil is leaking, I highly recomend this product!

Great looking valve covers for the cost

Great valve cover but if you have roller rockers, the baffle must be removed and be prepared to use a grinder on the inside. Also, some aftermarket throttle bodies will cause the throttle cable to drag on the valve cover. Overall, a classic look for cheap.

      Very nice

These covers are very nice. Well built, and look great! Only snag I ran into when installing them is the baffle for the oil fill hit the studs on my rockers. So I had to remove it. If you are running pedestal rockers I don't foresee this to be a problem. Otherwise, love them!
