More Power. When adding power adders like nitrous, superchargers, or turbos to your Pony you need the correct spark plug to maximize horsepower. That is where Ford Racing "0-Degree" Spark Plugs come into play, these plugs are specifically designed for applications that require a one step colder heat range.

Legendary Ford Racing Performance. Add performance parts to your Pony made by the people who know it best. Ford Racing's legendary quality and performance ensure these 0-Degree Spark Plugs will deliver the consistent results you need to tune for maximum power.

Application. This set of eight (8) Ford Racing 0-Degree 16mm Spark Plugs are specifically designed as an upgrade for nitrous or force inducted 2005 to 2008 GT Mustangs with the stock 3 valve 4.6L modular engine.

Identifing Your Coils. Engines with late style 12MM spark plugs can be identified by coil engineering number 8L3E printed on the coils. Engines with early style 16mm "High Thread" design spark plugs can be identified by coil engineering number 3L3E.

    Ask a Question

Ok to run on n/a cars? Although these plugs are designed for forced induction are they ok to run on n/a cars as well?

    OutlawGT

    • These plugs are a colder plug meant for higher cylinder pressures. While it might run in your N/A engine, there is a possibility of missing under throttle or they simply might not make optimal horsepower.

So I am going to be installing these with MSD blaster coils and a Roush m90 supercharger. How should i gap these?

    BladenN

    • The gap is going to be different depending on how much boost you are running/planning to run, so we recommend consulting with your tuner on what would be best for your application.

Are these the one piece like the Autolite ones?

    DougS

    • The Ford Performance 0-Degree Spark Plugs are not a one piece design.

How should I gap these to go with bolt on mods and a 75-100 shot of Nos? Or should I leave them like they come?

    ZacharyD

    • The Ford Performance 0-Degree Spark Plugs come pre gapped, but gap should always be checked on a plug before installing. With the modifications done to the car, gap may need to be adjusted to accommodate for the nitrous, slightly closing the gap unless aftermarket coils are installed.

Can these spark plugs handle a 150 shot of nitrous?!

    Gimpsta16

    • The Ford Performance 0-Degree Spark Plugs (05-08 GT) would be able to handle a 150 shot of nitrous. These plugs are perfect for forced induction or nitrous.

Are they helpful if I only have a stock engine? I'm planning on putting some basic mods in my 05 GT, but no Nos, turbo, or supercharge any time soon, so would they still work good with a stock engine?

    Gilbert09

    • No they are a colder plug designed for forced induction applications. American Muscle has other plugs that are up grades from stock that are designed for your application. Like the NGK G-Power Platinum Performance Spark Plugs item #64066.

      Nice upgrade to the motor

Easy install because the old plugs had been replaced before. So no problem with the removal. Install was a breeze.

These spark plugs work great with nitrous. I put them in and they came out looking brand new after a day at the strip.

      These are the plugs period...

I'm supercharged. I was using HTO plugs they kept going out. I finally switched to ford performance felt the difference. A bit stronger just feels right. Will continue to use. Very pleased

      Great for boost

These work great with boost. You will have to gap them to the recommended setting. For me it was 32. These replaced my HT0 which had 2 out of the 8 randomly misfiring.

0 degree Ford plugs-2005 Mustang GT

The plugs were not all gapped where they were supposed to be. I had no way to gap them. Could not find the tool locally to gap them with. Car misses badly.

Best spark plugs for S197 05-10

QUite expensive spark plugs, but you really feel the difference between the this and the standard ones. A must have if you have a supercharger/turbocharger or a highly modified engine. You feel the difference just after the installation. Trust me!

      Pep in Your Step

To complete the triangle of forced induction (air), injection (fuel), spark (flame)...these spark plugs will maintain the horsepower increase you're looking to achieve.

      Fire power

Plugs seem to keep up with my MSD coil packs. Best to have a pro mechanic install in 4.6 3V GT. Very difficult to remove and install.

I went from factory sparkplugs to these and was hoping for a more noticeable improvement considering my factory plugs had 110K miles on them.

      Ford Performance Plugs

I bought a used 2007 mustang gt with 103k miles on it. I knew it needed plugs when I bought it. They were horrific to replace. These plugs made a big difference once I got them in. The vehicle started up a little faster and sounded much better.

      Great Addition

I have done a lot of engine bolt on modifications and the OEM sparkplugs were not holding up and although my car is still NA these work perfectly and have had no issues.
