    1 Top Rated Question

I was wondering what hose attaches to the top of the tank? I only have the two hoses that attach to the factory tank.

    • The fitting at the top is made for a breather hose to be added.

      Good product, poor packaging

I don't know if it Ford Racing or AM, but the packing was very poor. The product is great, but the brass fitting was damaged in shipping because it was just thrown into a box with some packing paper (which did nothing). The brass fitting poked holes in the box it the thrashed around so much. I easily replace it from Lowe's for $4, but that should not be necessary. I have similar issues with other Ford Racing parts from other vedors...I think Ford needs to look at how the ship their parts.

      High Quality, as expected.

This expansion tank replaced the plastic piece Ford installed at the factory. It gives the under-hood area a more "muscle" look. The all-aluminum, welded tank perfectly matches the Ford Racing all-aluminum, welded radiator I installed at the same time. It was easy to install, and will get me points at the next car show.

      Canton Tank, FRPP Cap

This tank actually has the Canton logo etched in the top, and it came with an FRPP cap. Very nicely made, and a lot better looking than the stock one.

      Not what I expected

Not what I expected. Tank was not well made, in my opinion. Didn't like how cap fit either. Sent it back. Ended up getting the Moroso tank instead.

      needed upgrade

original coolant tank developed a leak, ford racing tank looked like the way to go (surprised to see CANTON etched on top). great looking tank, very neat welding of seams, very easy swap, less than one hour. came with new 16# pressure cap which is a plus classes up the engine bay quite a bit
