Will I have to remove my front bumper cover for this or can I get away with just removing the radiator cover under the prop rod for install?

  • When replacing the stock radiator with the Ford Performance Radiator, you will need to remove the upper radiator cover, and unclip the A/C Condenser. Mustangs with automatic transmissions will also need to unbolt the trans cooler. Once these pieces are out of the way, coolant is drained, and hoses are removed, the radiator can be removed going straight up. Please note, Ford recommends vacuum filling the cooling system on these engines.

    Perfect for factory replacement

Perfect replacement for the factory radiator if you break it. Hit debris on the road and needed a bunch of repair work done by the local Ford dealer, including replacement of the factory radiator, so I decided to upgrade to a Ford performance radiator instead. Given my heavy right foot and that I do a lot of city driving and it gets pretty hot in the summer months, I thought it wise to play it safe. The install is pretty easy/straight forward and it's not the most expensive upgrade in the world--I recommend it if you're road racing or dailying it in a hot climate
