Hey what’s up everyone I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m taking a look at a mod that’s sure to freshen up the interior of any New Edge Mustang in a snap, I’m talking about chrome gauge bezels for your 94-04 Mustang. This is another one of those mods that Ford should have taken notes on. Once installed these trim rings look like they should have been factory equipment on every Mustang. The kit includes 6 individual trim rings that simply snap into place over your factory gauges, making for an easy install. Now you will have to remove your factory cluster, which really isn’t all that hard to do and should take you 30 minutes from start to finish. However as always if you have any problems or questions whatsoever, you can always refer to the detailed instructions located on this page. It is worth mentioning that these bezels are compatible with aftermarket gauge inserts such as reverse glow white face gauges. And if you’re really digging the look of the chrome and you want more, then you might want to check out our polished billet aluminum interior kit as well, for a show stopping interior. These rank pretty high on the old bang for your buck meter, for the money spent you can’t match the interior styling impact these give your New Edge Mustang, be sure to check them out.

Tools needed: T15 torx, t20 torx, tape, razor blade knife and clear silicone. So the rings are really easy to install. Watch the YouTube video on how to remove the clear plastic housing. After you get it apart, slide the rings through there designated slots sideways (fit right in without a problem) through the back holes. Using a flat head screwdriver with tape wrapped around it (tape protects from scratching glass) and your fingers, clip the rings into place. The clips aren't very good. The clips on the four some rings clipped right on. The two big ones not so well. I took a razor blade knife and trimmed around the housing where they clip in at and that worked very well. Then i used clear silicone on the clips to make sure they held. Had to deduct a star because they are not plug and play but after they are in it looks amazing like a new car.Helpful (0)

Excellent addition to my gauge cluster!
These chrome dress up rings were pretty easy to install and look great! I did add a little adhesive on the back side just to make sure they stay locked in place.Helpful (0)

Look nice, flawed product
The end result is pretty good, but these rings are really hard to cram into place, cheap product design shows, but in the end look as advertisedHelpful (0)

This is the first product from here that I can say I've ordered that's a piece of junk. None of them would snap into place w/ even an inkling of ease. Some didn't even fit. To top it off it was even more difficult bc my 2000 GT's dash is one piece w/ the lens. I think the company that made these have a quality control dilemma bc I'm not the first on here to complain about this. Wouldn't recommend buying. The only positive note is if you're lucky enough to not have an issue they do look nice on the cluster.Helpful (1)

Don't buy this cheap plastic. It doesn't fit at all. Half of them wouldn't snap in and the other half just fall out. I thought about gluing them in, but I cant find a '97 Mustang bezel to buy and I'm not tearing up the one I got. Would be better if they where metal with bendable tabs. The ad picture looks awesome tho!Helpful (1)

Look good but not easy to install
I bought these because they look like a nice addition to the dash. Ford should have considered adding these when new because they do look nice installed. I have an 02 Mustang GT and I removed the gauge console to install the bezels. Because the gauge console has a clear outside lens, this makes installing the bezels very difficult. I managed to get one of the bezels installed but quickly realized it wouldn't stay in place without being glued or something to keep it in place. My opinion is this is something that should have been factory installed. The only way this can be successful in if your able to remove the clear lens. I got fed up and decided to go without.Helpful (1)

My car is a 99 GT. It says in the instructions, some models have a detachable clear lens and some do not. Guess what, mine doesn't. That made install 10 times harder than it should've been. Make sure to do the 4 smaller gauges BEFORE the tach/speedo. With the tach/speedo rings in place, your fingers can't squeeze between the ring and the lens. Also, I had to trim out the gauge openings to make them snap into place. Nothing a razor blade and a steady hand can't handle! I gave fitment 3 stars only because the instructions say nothing about trimming the gauge openings. Also, the description says "billet", which, to me, implies some sort of metal. Nope, they are chromed plastic. They look great!!Helpful (1)

The first AM Product that ever disappointed me
Okay, so, I will be as unbiased as possible as I truly love how AM operates and their customer service. and with exception to this product I've had no issues with the thousands of dollars worth of other product I've bought. The look is good; however, the fitment is truly abysmal (hence the poor scores in bang for buck and fitment). I tried for over an hour (no joke) to get the top left gauge ring in without success. I then had my wife, who has smaller hands/fingers, to see if she could do it (which she couldn't). I had another friend of mine attempt to do it as well and he too failed. It would appear the only way to get this in is to glue it; however, I will NOT glue something like that into the bezel and risk getting it on the plastics. The other ones fit "okay" but were a huge pain as well. Truly, I do love AM but not this product. I'm outside the return time so I'm now stuck with this product. Quite a bummer. I'll see if they'll help me exchange the product. Long winded review but I feel it's important for people to know this going in.Helpful (3)
