This rear Hawk Performance Talon Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotor & HPS Pad Kit is just the ticket to get that high-performance braking you need. As soon as you step on the brakes, your Dodge will stop firmly and immediately. This rotor and brake pad kit will give you up to 40% more braking power compared to stock and is perfect for high-speed, race-like driving.
High-Quality G3000-Grade Rotors. This pair of Talon series rear brake rotors are made from premium, G3000-grade cast iron, CNC-machined with slots for perfect balance. They also come with precision-drilled holes to help maintain lower temperatures. As a final touch, Hawk Performance chose a Magni™ coating barrier for heavy-duty corrosion resistance and a stylish matte finish.
Cross-Drilled and Slotted Design. For a cleaner, cooler, and quieter operation, Hawk Performance designed these rotors with cross-drilled holes and slots. These features help reduce heat and instances of brake fade by providing an exit for brake dust, gases, and water. This results in a cleaner contact between the rotor and the pad, which gives maximum “bite” without too much noise. Moreover, these rotors have vents that help with faster, more efficient heat dissipation to further improve your Challenger’s braking performance.
Heavy-Duty Composite Brake Pads. The rear brake pads that come with this combo kit are made from a ferro-carbon composite. They are designed to deliver a higher friction output to cater to more aggressive drivers but also maintain a progressive feel for normal driving. These brake pads also last longer and don’t cause too much wear on the rotors.
Less Dust for Longer Life. These Hawk Performance brake pads are designed to produce less brake dust. This means you’ll have a cleaner rotor surface, resulting in less braking noise and stronger grip. In addition, less brake dust also means you’ll have cleaner wheels and tires. Straightforward Installation. This rear brake rotor and pad combo kit can be used a direct replacement or upgrade for your stock rear kit. Installation can take about 2 hours, give or take, depending on your auto-mechanical experience. Ask for professional assistance as needed.
