Restore. Replacing a sagging or discolored headliner can go a long way towards making your SN95 Mustang look new again. The OEM paperboard headliner breaks down quickly, making it look ready for the junkyard when your Fox sure isn't. Replace it with this ABS backed piece and never have to worry again.

Insulate. In addition to improving the appearance of your interior, this high-quality replacement also reduces road noise.

Better than OEM. The molded ABS backing and foam insulation of this headliner offers superior durability with an OEM style finish. Its OEM style fabric is the perfect complement to our other upholstery replacement kits.

Professional Quality. Don't buy a "one size fits all" kit that requires you to cut it to fit your interior. This headliner comes pre-cut using CAD patterns so it's ready to install.

Application. This OPR Black Cloth ABS Headliner fits all 1994 to 1998 Mustang Coupes, including the V6, GT and SVT Cobra models.

Does this anything extra to be placed in your car? And my coupe came with a sun roof? Would this still be compatible?

        • No, this part would not require anything else to install it in your Mustang. Unfortunately, this headliner would not be compatible with the sunroof and would require modification to work with the sunroof in your Mustang.

            Poor fitment.

Long story short the headliner does not fit like oem. Gaps throughout where the headliner meets up with oem trim pieces. Had to trim the headliner in the rear to clear plastic standoff for the screw to go through for the coat hanger in the back. I may of had a fluke on fitment isssues, but I will not recommend this to anyone else.

            Good looks bad fit

I bought this to restore my Cobras Roof as it was sagging. Shipping and all was fine. Looks very good of coarse its new. as stated in another review you will have to cut out the material covering the dome light and visor but the holes are there so all you do is follow the trim. the OEM roof is made from card board and the new one is made from a plastic which is a plus as you wont have to worry about sagging from moisture or age. over all i liked the construction. upon installing i noticed some places in the top were not completely tacked down, but doing some gentle rubbing and massaging got it in place. Fitment wise, hated it. had to trim a chunk in the rear but it was in a place where the quarter window plastic trim covers it so not a big deal. in the front center you have to watch where the wires are going across to the dome and visor mirror lights as they will make it bulge and youll end up breaking something. after running it right i installed and still broke both my visor clips and the driver side visor hole would not match to the OEM position which is where i had to remove some from the rear driver side to manage it into lining up. im not completely satisfied with it and i would not recommend this brand for an OEM like replacement. on an average install this would be very easy as long as it goes well and you have common sense and it would take you like 30 minutes to install.

ABS headliner, easy install, perfect fit.

I have removed and reinstalled every panel in my interior several times, so removing the pillar covers, visors, and done light to put this headliner in went very quickly for me, I also did not have a headliner previous to this, so my install time of around 30 minutes was faster than others may experience. The headliner is bendable, so slipping the headliner through the door and around the seat is very easy. It fits better than the stock, and is made with only quality in mind. Only draw back is you have to make the holes in the cloth for the visors and done light but with a pocket knife or scissors that takes a matter of second to do.

            Better than OEM

This is the way the original headliner should have been made in all 1994 Mustangs and newer. The technology is simple and this product is so superior to the old style hard board headliners that all eventually sag. This new ABS headliner has the same contours or even better ones than the factory one has. It comes with a self adhesive strip that makes securing it in the roof of the car super easy. Loosen the factory panels, remove the factory headliner, apply the provided self adhesive strip to the roof of the car, peel the backing off, press the new headliner to it and re-attach the factory panels and you're finished.

            97 Mustang Headliner

I think this is about the easiest headliner I ever put in. The only hard part was trying to hook up the sunvisor light, other than thatit was easy!
