Does this require a custom tune? Does this require a custom tune? Will the check engine light come on due to the different cats?

  • To answer your first question, yes it will require a custom tune because your check engine light will come on due to the smaller cat size. If you don't get a custom tune ask the installer to put on some spacers and that should solve the check engine light problem.

Exactly what I was looking for

This pipe takes away weight, has no power loss over a straight pipe and takes that nasty exhaust smell away. The sound is exactly what I was looking for. No rasp, deeper tone and outright awesome under WOT. This will set a ck eng light so no this ahead of time. But it's exactly what I wanted.

    I'm not hearing the difference

When I first installed this part I had an SLP Loudmouth axleback muffler delete, and it was entirely too loud. Too loud to the point where I had to buy an actually exhaust for it. I got the exhaust installed and honestly, I'm gonna have to get used to the sound, not quite what I expected. Maybe once I get it back on the Dyno due to the part changes, that may make a difference. If so I will of course update this review.
