Improves Power. Add even more horsepower and torque to the rear wheels of your 5.0 coyote Mustang with a JBA After Cat X-Pipe. The JBA high flow X-Pipe significantly improves your GT's exhaust flow to increase overall performance. This JBA X-Pipe is designed to be used with JBA's shorty headers or the stock manifolds.

Race Car Growl. This free flowing JBA X-Pipe for your 2011-2013+ 5.0-powered GT not only increases power, but with its modern "X" crossover pipe design it also adds a crisp, raspy, race car growl to the sound of your exhaust.

Street Or Off-road Use. The JBA GT X-Pipe bolts up directly behind the stock catalytic converters with no cutting required making your Mustang 100% smog-legal. Or you can install the included stainless steel "cat delete" downpipes for even more power making your x-pipe perfect for off-road use.

Quality Construction. The After Cat high-flow X pipe is made to last, using durable 3" stainless steel tubing. With its smooth, precise mandrel bents, there are no kinks to rob you of power.

Required Upgrade. This 3" to 3" Mid Pipe requires the use of an aftermarket 3" catback exhaust system, as the factory catback is too small at only 2.75".

Application. This JBA high flow After Cat X-Pipe is designed to fit the 2011-2014 GT with either the stock exhaust manifolds or aftermarket shorty style headers installed. Reuses the stock Catalytic Converters.

    Loud and Proud

Biggest problem with this part is that I didn't realize that my catback system which I have had for some time now is smaller pipe than this x pipe. This meant a trip to the exhaust ship to get some welding done. Also the factory ball clamps that you are supposed to reuse leak. I don't believe that new clamps would avoid this. kind of the nature of the beast. Also, I don't know what it is about these '11-'12 mustangs but at least here in Kansas all the down pipe studs are completely seized. And they are in a hard to get to place to cut them off. I had to beat them with an air hammer until they gave up. My Mustang is the third one like this that I've come across in a short amount of time. One had only 10,000 miles on it and was like that. But the sound is amazing. Very Very loud though. I have to be VERY conservative with the skinny pedal in my neighborhood, especially at night. But when the loud noise isn't a problem it's awesome. This kit does not come with downpipe upper gaskets. Mine still sealed but you may not be so lucky. Order new ones before you get started with installation.

    great idea in theory

the idea of having an x-pipe that u can remove or replace the cats when you want to is what drew me to this product. When i recieved the product the first wrong thing was the passenger down pipe was labeled on the wrong pipe. once the down pipes were installed i had to ratchet them closer together to get the x-pipe to fit. The lip of the downpipe that was supposed to overlap the x-pipe was horribly designed sad to say the oem system was better. so bad the design was that no matter what i had an exhuast leak to the point i just welded the pipes together to make a one piece. As well as the end of the xpipe being a inch or 2 shorter than i would like causing me to pull my catbacks to it. All and all it sounds great but definantly not as bolt on as it says. a simple weld job fixed it and it was a cheaper system than just a regular or x.
