Bring cool air flooding into your 2011-2012 F-150’s combustion chamber via the non-restrictive aluminum tubing of the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake for some extra power. Whether for towing or the track, highway driving or off-road dirt wrangling, the bonus +18.74 horsepower and +12.61 ft-lbs of torque will come in handy wherever you’re using your vehicle. The easier breathing your F-150’s 6.2L engine experiences also improve its throttle control, acceleration, and fuel economy, to boot.
No Tuning Required for Use. No tune is needed for the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake. The CAI will run at its normal high capacity with the stock tune in place on the ECU.
Professional Grade Reusable Filter. Air entering the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake passes through an extra-large conical air filter to reach the engine. This filter consists of oiled red cotton gauze, precision made for the correct pleat depth for maximum inflow and filtration. The first cleaning isn’t needed until approximately 100,000 miles of driving, at which point the filter can be washed, dried, oiled, and reused repeatedly.
Constructed and Finished to High Standards. The cotton gauze air filter of the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake has a chrome top plate and is penned inside an injection molded polyethylene cold air dam. The dam is black and has a matte finish. Beyond this point, there is an aerodynamically shaped free-flowing aluminum intake tube. The tube is polished for aesthetic reasons and is, of course, rust-proof. Various sections of this USA-made component are held together with 5 stainless steel clamps.
MAF Housing for Stock MAF. The MAF housing found in the K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake is designed to reuse the MAF found in the factory intake. Furthermore, there are fittings for the EVAP hose and an included silicone crankcase vent hose.
Attaches with No Hassle. The K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake fits onto the mounting holes already present in your F-150, using its own hardware kit (included). You can complete the installation using ordinary tools like wrenches and ratchet sets, and don’t need to drill or cut.
Warranted for 1 Million Miles. The K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake is protected by a million mile limited warranty.
CARB Certified for Emissions. The K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake is made to meet the requirements of CARB regulations and is consequently 50 state street legal. The executive order has the CARB EO Number #D-269-48. This means it can be owned, installed, and driven in every American state, including California, and other states where the CARB rulings are used as local emissions law.
Application. This K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake is specifically design to fit the 2011-2012 F-150s powered by the 6.2L V8 engine. It is not compatible with the 6.2L SVT Raptors.
Technical Note. The K&N Cold Air Intake is not designed for vehicles equipped with a Body Lift.
