They effectively lower your vehicle’s center of gravity to give it solid launches, cornering and braking. With this lowering kit, you can have a compelling head start with the remarkable traction and balance that it delivers.
High-Performance Shocks and Struts. This Lowering Spring Kit is equipped with rear and front shock absorbers. They have been specially designed to work better with the lowering springs included in this kit. Together, these shocks and struts reduce body roll so you can launch and corner better at high speeds.
Muscular Stance. Apart from enhancing the handling characteristics of your performance car, this lowering spring kit also minimizes fender gaps. This makes your car look more aggressive and muscular than ever.
Race-Ready Construction. KONI engineered the lowering springs included in this kit according to the specifications of your Camaro. They are manufactured using industrial-grade steel with high tensile strength for superb, high-intensity performances.
Linear Design. Linear springs (also known as standard rate springs) are engineered with a constant spring rate that stays the same as the spring compresses. This linear rate of compression allows for optimum traction and more predictable handling feel at both low and high speeds. Linear springs will have a slightly rougher ride when compared to progressive springs. Linear rate springs are a popular choice for track and road course driven Camaros.
Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels and Tires. This Lowering Spring Kit is designed to work with stock and aftermarket wheels and tires. This allows you to use them without any rubbing issues.
Professional Installation Recommended. Setting up this Lowering Spring Kit requires a spring compressor. As such, AmericanMuscle recommends professional installation. Please note that an alignment is also recommended after installation for optimized results.
