    Hi I was just wondering about this long tube headers just wondering what Cat-Back exhaust system I can use for this product

    • When installing the Kooks 1-5/8 in. x 2.5 in. Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers, you can use a stock V6 Catback, or stock style by using one of the Kooks Y pipes, or you may install a GT style catback using the Kooks H pipe.     With the Ford Performance True Dual exhaust as well as the Kooks catted H-Pipe, what kind of sound should I expect from my 2005 4.0 v6? I have a BAMA tune ready for it as I already planned on purchasing this setup but would like to get an idea of what I should be expecting... My goal is to obtain the loud roar that a v8 produces... let me know what you all think!

      Great product

      I paired this with the Kooks catted H pipe. Overall great product. Good quality materials, everything came that was needed. Apparently install wasn't too bad. I was charged for about 3 hours of labor for longtubes and h pipe install. Sounds pretty good as well, quieted my car down a little but had shorty headers and x pipe prior to. A little pricey to me. For my own car I have more giddie up in the mid to higher rpm range now. NOTE: the new catalytic converters are a little exposed under the car making them the lowest point of your car..at least on mar car it did.

      Great Sound and solid power gains

      The longtube headers were not all too difficult to put in, when me and my dad installed them we didn’t have remove anything other than the egr pipe. We ended getting a new egr pipe because we couldn’t get it off the original manifold. Took about an entire afternoon with just hand tools and no power tools. Sounds great paired with the kooks h-pipe and Borla atak mufflers
