    More Horsepower and Torque. A set of Kooks Long Tube Headers with high flow Catted Connection Pipe will greatly improve the performance of your 2015-2017 GT S550. Kooks Headers feature an integrated venturi style collector that increases exhaust scavenging and reduces turbulence. As a result, it will improve your Mustang's exhaust flow over the restrictive stock manifolds, boosting your horsepower and torque numbers.

    Quality Construction. These Kooks Long Tube Exhaust Headers are manufactured from 1-3/4" mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tubing that merges into 3" collectors with scavenger spikes for superior airflow. These headers feature a leak-free ball and socket design for optimal performance and a better than OEM fit.

    Recommended Upgrade. To realize the full power potential that these Long Tube Catted Headers have to offer, AmericanMuscle recommends a Bama custom tune with a Mustang Handheld Tuner to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) for proper operation.

    Application. These Kooks 1-3/4" Long Tube Catted Headers are specifically designed to fit the 2015-2017 5.0L GT Mustangs and is a direct bolt on to the stock exhaust system.

    Technical Note. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; intended for off road use only.These Headers are intended for left hand drive applications only.

    Will I have to add anything or buy anything to go with the corsa extream exhaust?

    Will this fit on the AWE switchpath catback exhaust without issue? Or will I need an adapter of some kind

    • The Kooks 1-3/4 in. Long Tube Catted Headers are indeed compatible with the AWE SwitchPath Cat-Back Exhaust systems as they are both compatible with their stock counterparts.     Given the extra flow over stock will I need a tune?

    • With the High Flow Catalytic Converters and free-flow tubing on these Kooks 1-3/4 in. Long Tube Catted Headers, a tune will be required in order to operate efficiently as well as eliminate the check engine light that will be cause by the O2 sensors.

    Do they come with a ceramic coating?

      Kooks long tube catted

      I was hesitant but these fit like a glove. I had a shop do the install to ensure it was professionally installed, ran me 300$. This with the tune really woke up my mustang. You can really feel the power. Only downside are the cold starts in the a.m... it is super load but once idle is beautiful. I have borla stype cat back and it complements these headers perfectly.

      kooks headers

      I put my mustang up on jack stands and started the process .It took me a full day but was worth it. car sounds great. Kooks headers are very good quality just like they say.

      Take the Muzzle off 'your fire breathing Pony

      I had already installed the Ford Racing X Pipe on the otherwise stock exhaust. I noticed a difference in both sound and the speed that the engine would rev. It was entertaining for a month when I decided to go ahead and purchase the CAI, Tuner and Full Length Headers from Kooks. Like most, I researched before purchasing and decided that I would give Bama, JLT and Kooks a shot. The Headers were not quite as bad as I expected. The Headers fit right up to the Ford X Pipe and Stock exhaust. I was concerned that the 3 inch to 2.5 inch junction was going to be an issue, but the car breathes fine and the gains are very noticeable. I retained the stock mufflers thinking that they would maintain the less aggressive sound. I was wrong. The Factory Ford mufflers are quite un-restrictive once you eliminate the Factory Headers/Cats and Suitcase Muffler. They sound reminiscent of a 60's Mustang Track car. Raspy and ANGRY. Even with the Kooks Catted Headers, the car opens up at full throttle and sounds very close to a Track Beast. I swapped out the Performance Pack wheels and Pirelli's for more wheel and rubber. With the boost the car gets from the free flowing exhaust and intake, it still tortures the Michelin Pilots, even at 305-35/19 Don't be scared. Take a look at the instruction video from CJ Pony Parts, but buy your parts from American Muscle. The price and availability can't be beat. The gains are awesome at the mid to top end, and it gets there fast! Come on, American Muscle! You need less marketing videos and MORE "how to" videos!!!
