      Aggressive Muscle Car Rumble. The MAC Performance cut and clamp Mid Pipe not only gives your V6 Mustang a true dual exhaust, but with its unique Pro Chamber cross over design it adds a more aggressive muscle car rumble to the sound of your exhaust, that a standard Y-Pipe just can't match.

      Reuses Stock Cats. The installation of the MAC Performance Cut & Clamp Pro Chamber Mid-Pipe requires cutting and removing the stock Y-Pipe, and reuses the factory catalytic converters saving you money. Clamps and complete instructions are provided.

        4 2008 V6 - NickS Installation Time: Afternoon

        Best V6 Midpipe, but the clamps are garbage.

        Short of an H-Pipe, which are almost nonexistent for the V6, this is the best midpipe you can get. It has a very deep sound at idle, like an H, and is quiet at cruising rpm, but with a definite tone. At WOT, it screams like an X. I've heard it called an H/X hybrid, which I agree with. NOTE: The clamps that come with this are absolute garbage. They will leak, and are too small and thin to be of any use. You'll need to get bigger, better ones to do your exhaust right.

        Great buy

        I have these installed with some magnaflows mufflers. Gave my car a nice rumble at low RPMs and also lessen the drone when I drive on the freeway.

        Had it installed on my v6 single exhaust. Really woke the car up! Love that under the seat rumble at idle! Deep base not the whining honda sounds as u take off! Fantastic!

        5 2005 V6 - JP70408W05v6 Installation Time: Afternoon

        Good product

        It took about 2 hrs, most the time was to remove stock exhaust with little time spent on install. Good product for the money. It is loud and has a lot of drone by it's self, I suggest a Gt catback exhaust kit to accompany it. It has a nice deep sound close to that of a v-8. Fuel milage increased 1-3 mpg along with a better power curve.

        5 2007 V6 - Nickelodeon Installation Time: Afternoon

        Best V6 Conversion Midpipe

        The MAC Prochamber midpipe is the best H-pipe out there for a V6 conversion. I'm a very picky person when it comes to the sound of my exhaust; the loudness, tone, note, and performance always plays a big role in the right sounding exhaust system. I decided to pair this up with the MAC boom tubes, and it sounds great. The Prochamber gives the rich, deep tone that is not outrageously loud and annoying. From the chambered H-pipe it gives off a deep rumble that you cannot match to any other plain H or X pipe conversion kits.

        5 2005 V6 - Dr3am3r Installation Time: Afternoon

        Easy install for excellent results.

        Hard to judge the install time when your doing the full conversion to dual exhaust from single. But after measuring and rechecking before cutting off existing chamber the hardest part was cutting through pipe. After that the install is a breeze. Great sound coming from the exhaust. People are amazed that it's a V6 and not the gas guzzling V8.

        A must for any V6!

        What an awesome product for any V6 owner. Previously had an x pipe and this thing makes it sound like I had a 4 cylinder. Now it sounds more like a V8. The exhaust note is much more defined and throatier. It seems to me the x pipe was restricting the flow of air and the MAC Pro chamber has opened it up giving me a much smoother ride. Overall a great product offered by American Muscle.

        I would recomend this product to any with a V6 mustang, i noticed it adds a really nice sound to my car and makes it idle sound alot deeper.This is a great product and well worth the money.

        nice tone

        The Mac pro chamber gave my v6 mustang a more defined idle and an awesome sound at acceleration. It's set up with two flowmaster 40, although it did quiet down the mufflers. Over all I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

      Is it compatible with my current Boomtube cat-back? I currently have the 2005-10 MAC Boomtube catback - bolted to the y-pipe. It is the same as this kit: Is this mid-pipe able to fit? Thanks!

      • You will be able to use the MAC Cut & Clamp Pro Chamber Mid Pipe (05-10 V6) with the MAC Dual Exhaust Conversion Kit (05-10 V6) item #40044 ( as long as you remove the Y-Pipe and retain the over-axle flow tubes.

      I bought the BBK True Dual Exhaust Conversion Kit (05-09 V6) with Pypes Violator Axle-Back Exhaust. Was wondering if this is compatible and what other exhaust mods would be good to put on my 05 V6 to get a deeper less raspy sound

      • Yes, this mid pipe here is compatible with the Pypes Violator exhaust and will be a bolt on direct replacement for the BBK True Dual exhaust conversion kit. While this h-pipe will add a deeper throatier sound over the x-pipe in the conversion kit, another item we recommend to enhance the sound of the exhaust would be to upgrade the headers in your V6 as well.
