Popular Tire Sizes for this Wheel
Hey everyone, I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m taking a look at our AmericanMuscle GT500 Style Wheels for your 2005 and up Mustang. GT500’s have always been one of the baddest Mustangs on the block and now your ride can enjoy the stylings of the 2010 GT500, thanks to these split 5-spoke wheels. The wheels are available with 3 different finishes, including a black painted finish, a triple dipped chrome finish, or a black machined finish. As for the sizes, the wheels are available in either an 18” diameter with an 8 inch front and 9 inch rear, or a 19” diameter with an 8.5 inch front and a 10 inch rear. Staggered fitment is cool for a couple of different reasons. First off, it looks awesome. A wider rear wheel not only improves your stance, but also helps get that power down to the ground thanks to the wider rear tire and contact patch. Not only that, it also makes for more responsive handling as well, thanks to the narrow front tire. It’s a win-win. Now, you can purchase these wheels without tires if you want; however, the smart move would be to take advantage of one of our wheel and tire combos that pair your new GT500 style wheels up with some of the better performing tires on the market today in sizes that are guaranteed to fit without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. Not only that, you also get to take advantage of our free shipping and handling, free mounting and balancing, and optional nitrogen fill. Remember, you 2007 and up folks have to keep in mind your vehicles are equipped with a TPMS sensor. This means a tire pressure monitoring system that needs to be addressed when ordering new wheels. These aluminum AM wheels are extremely durable, but if you ever encounter any problems, every rim features a lifetime structural warranty, as well as a one year warranty on finish, you can’t beat that. There are very few mods on the market today that can change the attitude of any ride like a new set of shoes. These AmericanMuscle wheels are sure to offer the modern aggressive stylings that look great on any Mustang.

Recommended Tire Size:
Note: Priced per wheel.
Note: The stock lug nuts (13/16”) prove to be too large when used in conjunction with these wheels. Please take a look at the Lug Nut Ordering Options above for some compatible options.
Fitment: 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009
Mounting & Balancing: AmericanMuscle offers professional mounting and balancing on all wheels and tires when purchased together on the same order. This will allow you to swap out your old wheels for your new set when they arrive.
What is TPMS? The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS for short) is a factory installed safety feature on all 2007 and newer Ford Mustangs that alerts you when your tire pressure drops to an unsafe limit.
How do I keep my TPMS feature? Aftermarket wheels do not come with TPMS sensors. However, if you select 'Add TPMS Sensor Kit' and your specific year range from the options listed above, we'll install the TPMS Sensors in your new wheels!

Local tire shops had no idea what tire/wheel sizes would work when I wanted a cool, staggered setup . AM’s staggered GT500 package with M/T Tire kit transformed the look and handling of my daughters car! It filled the the fender wells and improved handling. Delivery to my door saved me time and money! we’re super happy!Helpful (0)

Not a great replacement.
Was hoping for a good fit, but the wheels stick out about 3/4" on both sides of the car. Offset seems incorrect to be a direct swap - I need to either flare the fenders, shorten the axle, or just find different wheels.Helpful (9)

I bought these for my 2008 GT in Vista Blue. The matte finish is fantastic. Easily hides brake dust and clean very easy. I ordered the tires off of Tire Rack and saved a few dollars by doing so. Had it professionally mounted and balanced and they are great. I would highly recommend. I also have a matte black aluminum fuel door with the Gen 5 raxiom lights and it looks awesome!Helpful (9)

2010 GT500 Style Matte Black Wheels
I like the wheels, but the 19" wheel showed up with a small gash right at the edge of the wheel. it is about the size of a pencil eraser. it looks like something hit it before it was boxed up. I had to use it as the car was out of commission until i got the wheels on it. This is the first problem i have ever had with anything from American Muscle. Everything would have been 5 star without the gash in one of my wheelsHelpful (9)

GT500 style wheels
the fit an finish were very much as expected. Look good on the car and clear the large brake kit without any issues. Only problem I do have is that it requires a small wall socket to fit the lugs.Helpful (9)

I am old school, who likes chrome wheels for the longest. I was very hesitant about any black rims. Well my wife had bought a new orange Mustang w/ flat black rims and color matched seats. It really impressed me, so I too, now have flat black rims. That show off my screaming yellow caliper covers to match car and seats. Again WOW what a difference in stance and look. yes I even included pics, not the best pictures (just purchase camera).Helpful (11)

Got these in flat black for my 2013 GT Convert in impact blue. They look great I have installed some other flat black accents and a couple red really makes the car pop. The staggered look is really nice and got the Mickey Thompson's they are great. One of the best mods I have done so far. Pictures to post later.Helpful (12)

worked out the second time
The first time I ordered these rims, I went to pick them up at the UPS store. when I got there the rims came shipped in a weak box that was held together mostly by tape. I opened them up and the matte had been polished in some spots and there were a couple chips from the mounting and balancing. I chose to not accept them and UPS just shipped them back. at first I was charged a $500 restocking fee from AM. I called customer service and got passed through the line to a manager after explaining that I still wanted the rims and tires, I just wanted ones that looked good. eventually it wall all worked out and I was very well taken care of including refunding the restocking fee. the second set of rims was gorgeous and looks killer on my 2011 black mustang gt. the tires handle extremely well, are very quite, and grip nicely in the rain for such a high performance tire. I would recommend these rims to anyone. the matte is very high quality and looks very clean (Matte can be hard to make look nice). I got the black six spline lugs and they also look great with the rim. not disappointed with the order and will be using AM again.Helpful (11)
What's the weight for 19x10?
This wheel weighs approximately 29.4 lbs.
Are these available in a different offset? They stick out past my fenders while plenty of space inside is available. (2012 GT500)
At this time, we only offer the 19x10 2010 GT500 Style Matte Black Wheel with a +48mm offset.
what would happen if i use these 19x10 and some 18x9 in the front? would it lower the center of gravity?
As long as you are using the correct size tire this should not affect the height or balance of your car. This will give your Mustang a nice staggered look just like the 2013 to 2014 GT500 used.
Simple installation for anyone.
