Will this oil pan work well with lowered car okay. Looks like it would just double checking.

    • This will be slightly larger than stock but will still work with lowered cars as long as you are not slammed.

oil pan Gasket Do I need new Oil pan Gasket?

    • No, you can reuse your existing oil pan gasket. The oil pan does not come with a new one and the factory oil pan gasket/windage tray is the best one available.

Installation - Drop K-Member? Hi, Can this be installed by removing the motor mounts and lifting the engine up some or must the K-Member be dropped? Thanks, Bill

    • Just drop the K-member which is not hard on these cars and will make it a lot easier. If you cant rent an engine bridge just use a couple 4x4 blocks and set those on top of your strut towers then run a strong pipe or another 4x4 across it. Use rachet straps to suspend the engine. drop the Kmember and replace the pan.

      Bad Weld Leaks Oil

Installed brand new oil pan on my brand new built engine. Hasn’t even left the garage and after filling with oil the first time I noticed a small streak of oil dripping down the pan. Wiped it off and the next day it was back. Traced it back to a tiny pinhole in one of the welded seams. Brand new oil pan doesn’t hold oil.

      Great road race pan

Love the Moroso aluminum Coyote pan. Excellent quality and the rails are thick and flat. No issues with leaks or fitting. Two notes, you have to trim the two stud ends on the lower bellhousing bolts and loosen the tape wrap on the oil level sensor, the connector just reaches with the new pan.
