Street-Legal Drag Tire. The Mickey Thompson ET Street R Tire adheres to the strict regulations set by the Department of Transportation for street-worthy tires. However, this drag tire showcases its best aspects on the strip. It features flexible yet sturdy sidewalls for a quick reaction time with less distortion, making it a perfect fit for heavy vehicles and applications with high horsepower.

The Benefits of a Tubeless Construction. Tubeless tires offer an added measure of safety as they deflate slowly in case of punctures. That means no instant air loss and less chance of damage in case of flat running. Also, because the air is in direct contact with the wheel, the tires have improved heat dissipation capability.

Special Compound for ET Drag Radial. Mickey Thompson ET Street R Tires are made of a special R2 compound that's designed for ultimate dry traction. Note that this compound is quite soft so it will wear much quicker than other compounds, which are made for everyday street use.

Application. This Mickey Thompson ET Street R Tire is designed for the 1979-2018 Ford Mustangs. Sold individually and available in most popular sizes.

NOTE: This is a high-performance tire intended for use during summer months or warm temperatures only. Use during cold weather will greatly reduce performance, traction and handling, and greatly increase stopping distance. If using this tire in a drag or track environment during cold weather, we strongly recommend performing a pre-run burnout to nominalize the tread compound's temperature.

After I did the intake and tune on my 2012 GT automatic, the stock 235mm tires didn't have a chance. I chose to go with the ET Street 295s because I plan to keep on modding my car, and eventually adding boost. These suckers dead hook at 1750 RPM! On a side note, when I mounted them there was a grinding noise coming from the passenger side. Turned out the wheel well liner was bowed out. Cut it off with a razor and the grinding was gone.

    Believe the Hype!

Mickey Thompson continues to push the envelope. I just the original ET Street on my 900hp car. These work great on my street truck. Can't wait to get another set for my street car.
