2005-2009 Ford Mustang Oil Separators

Though the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system is a necessary part of making your 2005-2009 Mustang run properly, it can also cause problems if you've still got the stock configuration for your air. Crankcase exhaust is sucked back through the system and into your intake again after exposure to lots of crankcase oil – which means that it is filled with oil vapors.

The stock PCV system in a Mustang has no fitting to filter out these oil vapors. So, when they get sucked back into your engine's intake, they tend to condense out into oil sludge. This can coat the inside of crucial parts of the air system, gunking it up and damaging sensitive parts. The longevity of the whole system can be lessened, and performance is eventually cut, too.

Aftermarket 2005-2009 Mustang oil separators are an elegant solution to the problem that you can install in no time at all. These cylinders of aluminum include all the necessary parts and filters to separate the air and the oil, sending the air on to the intake cleaned of those damaging oil vapors, and directing the oil into their lower tank, which can hold up to several ounces of oily gunk.

Modern oil separators are of truly elite quality and will serve you very well. They're made out of anodized aluminum to stand up to the corrosive conditions in the engine, and may come in either sleek clear anodized finish (showing the satiny silver color of the aluminum) or black anodized for a tough, aggressive, crisp look. They come with brand-new PCV lines with the fitting and are ready to just plug-and-play – and clean up the act of your whole Mustang PCV system.
